ÜBER DAS SPIEL
Als Operator von 1-800 SUPER gibst Du Superhelden und Bösewichten Rat zu ihren ganz alltäglichen Problemen - und zu den großen Fragen, die über Leben und Tod entscheiden. 1-800 SUPER ist ein interaktives Hörspiel: Du nimmst Anrufe Deiner Schützlinge an und hörst Ihnen dabei zu, wie sie sich über Nichtigkeiten aufregen oder gerade dringenden Rat zu Ihrem Kampf mit ihrem Erzfeind brauchen. Gleichzeitig folgst Du den Social Media Feeds Deiner Klienten und sammelst Informationen über all den schrägen Charaktere, die diese Welt bevölkern - wer weiß, wofür Du diese noch benötigst…?

GESCHICHTE 
1-800 SUPER spielt in einer dystopischen Zukunft des Jahres 2056 in einer Welt ähnlich der unseren - aber humorvoll überspitzt. Der Ton der Geschichte wechselt zwischen düsterer Komödie und Drama und ist von klassischen Superhelden-Erzählungen inspiriert: Melancholische Vigilanten und schreckliche Superschurken kämpfen mit- und gegeneinander um ihre ureigenen Ziele, während der Spieler lernt, der Puppenspieler zu sein, der im Hintergrund die Entscheidungen trifft.

UMFANG
1-800 SUPER folgt einer liebevoll geschriebenen und ausgefeilten Haupthandlung mit der Länge eines Kinofilms. Begleitet wird diese Geschichte von zufälligen Anrufen von Nebencharakteren und einem immer wieder neu zusammengesetzten Social Media Feed. Somit ist jeder Spieldurchgang einzigartig.

### ***** "Quite the surprise."
Bought this on a hunch. I play lots of graphic novels and adventures, but this is a little different. It‘s basically mostly audio (you can turn on subtitles and read along), listening to calls coming in from all kinds of super heroes, baddies and the likes. Some are quite hilarious. You mime a phone helpline operator and give advice, affecting the ways of the characters. There‘s a ton of little things that make the world lively, like emails, some weird kind of twitter rip of, a music player etc. Underneath it all lies something pretty sinister, it seems. Enjoyed this a lot, pretty unique concept.

It’s kind of minimal in the idea but very great at telling an immersive story. 

If you like games, where you learn more about the story and get a relation to the characters this game is for you.
