This is a  thoughtlessly designed app. All French nouns are either masculine or feminine and this is conveyed by a definite article. They don't teach that, so you will have to learn this on your own for every noun, a very tedious process.
They teach the unconjugated infinitive of verbs, "to go," "to want," etc. rather than a conversationally useful "I go," "I want."
For A1 and A2 learners, rather than offer practical short sentences like "Hello, could you help me, please?" they offer transitional phrases you are unlikely to use along the lines of "As I was saying."

### *---- "Stole money and Support is unresponsive"
I cancelled my subscription during the free trial. I even took a screenshot of the cancellation and it has to date that the subscription would end (which was the last day of the trial period). When the trial ended I was still charged FOR A YEAR of app use!! I tried contacting customer support on the issue. Sent them several emails and no response. They straight up STOLE $85 and then ghosted. Do not use this app!!!

Open Settings » ~Your name~ » and click "Subscriptions".
Click the 10 Minute French (subscription) you want to review.
Click Cancel.

I like the flash card system, but I’ve seen it better presented by brainscape. I’ve got enough experience that I don’t need the sound portion, but if you do need it this is a great app.

Questionable accuracy, the randomization in the training is actually very predictable, and the words you’re learning constantly placed in a multiple choice with a bunch of words you’re not learning, which is not helpful for advanced or even probably beginner learners in terms of actually learning the spelling of recall of the word. Giving two stars for the size of the vocabulary on offer although again, a lot of them seem irrelevant or wrong.

I downloaded the app and intended to only use the free trial. The app promises to send a reminder when the free trial is about to end so you can cancel it if you wish. I never got a notification nor could I find anywhere in the app to cancel. In the app’s settings, the only option in “restore purchases”, where it just checks if you have a subscription or not. What?! Additionally, the website’s link “Write to us” does nothing, so there is no way to contact support besides through this review Im currently writing. 
This is extremely frustrating and I highly recommend that no one downloads this app.

I downloaded this app because the advertisement showed a clip of the Netflix show Wednesday and I assumed that I would be able to watch TV show clips and expand my knowledge of French. I was wrong. This feature never appeared. 

I put the app down and meant to delete it, but my four year old brother used my iPad and opened the app. He started the free trial for 1 year and I was never notified that the trial had started. Now, I am out $79.99 for an app that used misleading advertisements and scammed me. I have contacted Apple for a refund and let them know that the app is using false advertisements to scam people out of their money. Very upset.

I started my free trial, and completely forgot about using it. So when weeks later, I looked at the app again and the options available still offered a free trial, I selected it again. I was immediately charged for a year’s subscription. I contacted Apple support, and explained the issue and the reason for confusion, and they said I’d have to contact the app developers directly for a refund. I have reached out by email and have not received a response. I never leave bad reviews but this practice feels shady and I’m very frustrated by the lack of response.
