The app suggested to buy a subscription, and I did so accidentally. Paid 80 euros for nothing. What a waste
This app suggested me buying forever subscription for €49,99, I agreed and paid via Apple Pay. BUT!!! I was charged €19,99 + €79,99!!! Which is for 6 months and 1 year access at the same time! This is a deception!!!
You can only learn words. It’s like a dictionary. Absolutely not worth the money 80€ a year. I tried the app and was too late with unsuscribing. Now im stuck with a useless app where i can only learn words, no other features. Way to expensive
When you start the app and fill everything in it actually was really promising and i was excited. But unfortunately you have to pay for the app, which i understand ofcourse. i was a tad gutted because of this. I would give it a try it’s just that there’s better substitutes on the market because they are free. I’d love to mix this up with duolingo for example but not if it’s paid
I would love to try but not with a subscription. For free is for free, not with an automatic subscription. Wrong attitude of the app maker.
Make a free version of the app, just like Duolingo has. This is not very useful and people won’t try out the app with an ONLY 7-day trial period… not smart, especially cuz it’s a new app without any reviews 😉
This is basically flashcards with sound and spaced repetition. Since learning languages is very hard for me I found it a productive and rewarding way to learn. There are errors, however. For instance, it translates chimenea as “hogar” and erroneously says that the Spanish word for fruitful means barren. And a lot of the translations to English are words Brits use like “faff,” which are not used in the US. Some of the Spanish words like “ceca” are translated in ways that are not used by most Spanish speaking countries. For instance it translates “ceca” as “tails” but the dictionary says that’s used in Argentina for a coin flip. It would be more useful if it showed a picture, not just the English translation, with the d Spanish word. And it would help if one could immediately review the same 20 words so as to learn then perfectly. While I didn’t like having to spell the words because I’m mainly trying to learn to converse I found spelling them useful because it helped me detect errors in my pronunciation. For instance, sometimes I’d try to use “m”s in Spanish words similar to English words that use “n”s.
I was charged twice for this app and don’t know how to get a refund!
I was supposed to have a 7 day trial but got charged for two months. I have disputed it with Apple but they said this company won’t reverse the charge. I used the app, one time and canceled it! Don’t buy this app!
Surprisingly when words come up I am beginning to hear them. If you put in the work you will learn some vocabulary.
