This game demonstrates asymmetrical warfare on a medieval scale, with the English dominating at ranged battle while the French have significantly more powerful infantry at their disposal. My only gripe would be that there’s not very many missions compared to some of Hex’s larger projects. I’d like to see maybe the Carolinian phase of the war as well, as well as maybe some naval battles too. Even though there is a script that says the next battle is attacking. This behavior is repeated in War of the Roses etc. There is a fundamental degradation in the playability of these games.
