I used to play this game heavily, it’s something I used to calm down. I understood the use of ads despite how constant they are, you try and do anything and there’s a minute and a half long ad. But that’s not the issue. The issue is that I’ve had a lot of progress reset randomly, with no explanation, this time in the middle of a game. I had over 40000 stars, all gone! And the amount of cubes I had have been halved, and now the game has been reduced to an 8x8 cube which just renders the name of the game useless? A lot of random and unneeded changes have made the game lose its fun and is no longer something I want to engage my time in.

Literally updated it and changed the whole game, it’s harder and more ads, more boring. Loved this game. They changed the grid amount, why? Its called 10x10 for a reason. Cba playing anymore

Yes 1010 used to be a five star game but since updating on iPad, and no new updates found, a message to check internet connection unnecessarily appears before the game will load - when in fact I have full internet connection for this and all other apps. It has now become painfully slow to load, holding a white screen for what seems forever, and to play pieces which hover above and sometimes fall in a position not intended. Practically all play is delayed no matter what time of day you choose to play or the score so far achieved. Also random pieces appear on the bottom left hand side of the grid and will not move into play. Most frustrating is that scoring so far in the game suddenly disappears without reason and despite having achieved a high score with plenty’s of scope for moves play is either stopped or has to start afresh. As with other posts, the message that no more pieces can be played with no clear way of seeing why, dominating the screen is extremely annoying. Please, please get these problems fixed and earn back your 5 stars!

Despite being an avid player of this app for many years, I am now attempting to request a refund as I have now paid twice to have an ad-free experience BUT I constantly get ads. I have also failed to bring this to gram’s attention via their support and other email addresses (no response or email bounces). My recommendation - don’t bother with this game unless u are a fan of ads!

The reason I don’t play blockblast is because of all the unnecessary pop-ups when you clear a line like ‘Great!’ or ‘+10’, it’s just annoying and I wish I could turn it off now it’s on 1010.

used to be good, algorithm for finding a good puzzle was good too and as far as i was aware it made sure there was always a way out of any situation, until that silly mistake of an update → the update essentially lets you cheat by purchasing ‘rotates’ or ‘two stacks’ and the algorithm for selecting new blocks is now heavily dependent on the user purchasing multiple of these  per round otherwise there is no other possible method of getting through that block set

literally my childhood game. me and my mum and cousins would play it all the time. smooth, entertaining gameplay, takes a while for you to get bored. however, the adverts are REALLY excessive. literally like…. every 30 seconds to a minute. don’t get me wrong, i don’t mind an advert every time you lose a game - every 3 -5 minutes maybe, something like that.. but other than that, it’s a really good game.

When the update rolled out that showed the block’s ‘shadow’ before you placed it, I really hated it. Then I got used to it and it seems they’ve rolled back the update and now I miss it and want it back :(

The devs should add the shadow feature as an option in the settings, please!

i’ve had this game for quite a while (i’d say a few years or so) and i’ve loved it so much!! when i had spare time or just wanted a quick game to play, this was my go-to. i loved the features of this game, and i could play for hours. 

i did have a few issues with the game, such as the game going laggy and slow, heating up my phone occasionally, but it was never a serious problem that i was worried with. however, with the recent update, i was quite upset with how they did some appearance wise changes, completely removing features which i liked most. it might seem like a silly thing, but the new number fonts really put off my gameplay. as well as that, clearing a column doesn’t light up anymore, which was one of the things i liked most. 

this may be an irrelevant review, but i just wanted to let people know of my opinions. thank you for reading!!

### ***** "Great but recent update…."
I have been okaying 1010 for years (since 2017 I think) and I find it very relaxing. Throughout the years they have updated its, changed a few things here and there but it’s still kept that core aspect that makes it 1010. 

However I’m struggling to play it now with the latest update. Now when you pick up a block it highlights on the grid what it would look like if it was placed there. The problem is that the smooth motion of dragging the block with your finger conflict visually with the way the preview below it snaps to the grid,  making the game feel like it’s stuttering (even though it isn’t) and is quite jarring to look at. 

I don’t really think that people need a preview of what the block would look like on the grid as it’s easy to see just dragging and holding the block over where you intent to put it.

This unnecessary change in graphics feels like a step backwards and I would like to see it being reverted back at some point.
