After Google wiped all my codes for no good reason I moved to 2FAS to see if it was better. I never looked back. iCloud backups, synchronisation across devices and a handy watch app, all without any privacy concerns makes this the best 2FA app available.

This app is awesome. Only reason not to give 5 stars is that the widget stops working if I add a third service. It’s fine with 2 services, then when I add a third it just displays as if nothing is configured. Fix that and you’ve got 5 starts from me!

### ****- "Great app, one privacy issue"
Went into the about section of in app settings so I could get the link to write a positive review, and saw the "send anonymous crash reports" setting was hidden here. It's very unusual for the "about" section of an app to have any actual settings, this feels intentional so the setting is missed and left on by default. Whilst the data policy for the app is otherwise good, in comparison to other 2FA apps, this is disappointing and if unintentional would recommend the developer move the setting somewhere more transparent. Will update my review if this happens!

### ***** "Brilliant app - does just what it says on the tin"
Had been required to use another app previously as a website required some form of 2fa but now it's more common I decided to research a bit to find an app that works on all platforms not just smartphones. 

Picked this one as ticked all the boxes and open source and not some other mega corporation. 

Totally happy and use it all the time. Simple to import from my previous app so now all on one site together.

This app works well, and is better in my opinion. Many authenticators produced by large firms. It is simple not clunky it is not slow down workflow by, for instance, sending you to another website in the way that other authenticators do.

It just works. When I have the choice, I’d rather not host my MFA codes hosted with any of the big tech companies. I’ve used 2FAS for years… it’s always been rock-solid and reliable, codes are easy to add/import, can be exported easily enough (if I ever needed to). It’s just an excellent no-fuss, simple and easy to use app. Love it!

I’ve tried quite a few similar apps and honestly I don’t think there are many out there to offer more than this app for “it’s price”. Of course there’s room for improvement as anywhere else but for the time being it more than sufficient. Well done developers.

Just switched to this app recently due to it being Open Source

Looks really good so far, but:
1. It's a huge shame that the iCloud Sync Data (i.e. all of your OTP Secrets) are not flagged to be encrypted under iCloud Advanced Data Protection - this is in the control of the developer and would be an easy win for trusted E2E cloud sync

2. It would be nice to have an alternative, dark, app icon

Authenticator app was forced upon me in order to continue using an essential website. Read many many reviews, some claiming to be free weren't, some seemed difficult to install/use. Eventually tried this one, and despite some troubles setting up, i got it up and running and no problems so far, fingers crossed. 
I would recommend highly, but will amend review if troubles occur!!!
