It does what it claims to do, has been performing well. Instructions are also clear. App has improved quite a fair bit, becomes more intuitive.

Excellent cleaner, good app, but with issues

Thomas_Schraml on

Singapore

The cleaner robot, I have a S7 is fantastic. precise, efficient, reliable.. the app creates a precise map of the house and allows you to split it into different rooms which later can be used for ad-hoc or scheduled cleaning. There are extensive schedule possibilities which is really good. Areas, rooms, weekdays, times... all can be used in combination. The no go zones or virtual wall are very useful too. To the issues: the app often has a reaction time of tens of seconds (could be 20 or 30), seems that all is controlled via central server? The room setup is quite tedious and requires some logic to get to the desired result. The RC mode is unusable, mine sometimes went backwards only, turning is very weird. Really cannot use. Luckily its also not required, because it is quite easy to setup an adhoc area and send robot there. Response time of the app to control robot is the biggest issue

Map and function slow to load

spheredome on

Singapore

The application is ok but the biggest issue on IOS is that once the app is launch, the map loading is very slow like 10-15sec. Then after the long wait, then you can operate. This also cause clean command to delay by 5-6sec after pressing clean.

AI not very smart

Singapore

The cleaner keeps dropping down to lower levels even though my sensors are clean. The restricted area feature also doesn’t work well.
