Getting Started:
1. Install the app.
2. Open it, read and accept the license agreement and authorize the permissions the app needs (camera, microphone).
3. Open your web client or desktop app and click on the QR code in the top right corner. Details on how to access your web client are in your 3CX email sent by your administrator.
4. Open your camera on your iOS device and scan the QR code shown on your screen.
5. Your extension is configured and you’re now “Ready for calls”!
Important: This app is only for use with 3CX V18 and is not a standalone app.

There's often a delay when answering the often and connecting to the call! I have had many hang ups because either party thought the other wasn't there. In one call, I couldn't even talk to the customer because of the phone call announcing who the caller is and then spouting out the phone number. Sometimes the call is spotty, even though my phone signal has a full bar, the app will show 1-2 bars for the call signal. Make that make sense!
Can’t turn off notifications!!!
Thought it was great that if I was not close to the office landline and doing other things in the office I could easily answer through my phone. HOWEVER you can’t turn off the notifications!! Even if you try and turn them off through your phone settings and the app and try and put on do not disturb the notifications keep coming through. Driving be bananas enough that I’m deleting the app. This NEEDS to be fixed. Also sometimes the calls just don’t answer and this is very bad for a clinical setting where you’re answering for medical issues with patients. Very unprofessional.
Excellent unified communication client
The 3CX app allows our company to work from anywhere with chat, SMS, and calling. It works perfectly as an alternative to our desk phones as long as we have a good wifi or cellular Internet connection. It is ven works where other apps we tested either worked poorly or not at all. 3CX has been regularly updating the app to add features, take advantage of new options available in iOS updates, as well as to fix bugs that made it into production or were introduced with iOS updates.
Chat
The recent chat update fixed one problem and created another. On one hand I like that I can mark chats as dealt with. But now all of my current clients that I regularly communicate with have been automatically archived. I moved them back to active but it seems I can no longer continue the chat or crate a new chat as before. And it is not intuitive enough for me to figure out how to get around this change.
Text messages will not work
The app was working just fine for a while. It’s been like 3 months that text messages will not send/receive. Please fix this.
It works great!
I really enjoy the 3CX mobile app, I have been a user of the app since 2020. It still needs some small improvements, but overall it is a very solid platform. I run 99% of my business with the 3CX mobile app.
Call drop constantly
I have to use this app for work and the calls are constantly dropping. It’s so unprofessional on my part for my customers. There is no update, turning my phone on and off again and deleting/reinstalling the app that helps. I’ve gone through all of my settings and nothing helps stop this. Please fix this bug. My calls drop and go into recovering mode but will never reconnect. Other times my phone will stay in connecting mode making me unable to make calls or receive any incoming calls. This is unacceptable.
Unreliable at best
Calls show up as a missed call and will not ring to the app. Worked for a long time, then had to reinstall repeatedly to get calls, now nothing.
Hold option not working
I never used to have issues with this app but for the last few months it will not keep people on hold for more than 1 second.
