Subscribe to access to premium app features; subscription details are the following:

- Length: weekly, yearly
- Your payment will be charged to your iTunes Account as soon as you confirm your purchase
- You can manage your subscriptions and turn off auto-renewal from your Account Settings after the purchase
- Your subscription will renew automatically, unless you turn off auto-renew at least 24 hours before the end of the current period
- The cost of renewal will be charged to your account in the 24 hours prior to the end of the current period
- When canceling a subscription, your subscription will stay active until the end of the period. Auto-renewal will be disabled, but the current subscription will not be refunded
- Any unused portion of a free trial period, if offered, will be forfeited when purchasing a subscription

### ****- "Send files through app and messing tools"
Big fan of this app, i’m a mechanical engineer currently using the iPhone 15 Pro, but I have an iPad that doesn’t have a LiDAR sensor. Is there a way I could send files to the app on my iPad so I can measure using a bigger screen?

Also, in regard to measuring tools, I’d love to receive X, Y, and Z measurements when measuring point to point.

Looking forward to more updates soon!

Contrary to FAQ, my best scan so far for an object was made by walking around it about 30 times at different distances and angles (rescanning previously covered views many times over). Still have yet to get a decent room scan but they’re getting better as I become more familiar with usage. The room plan feature is incredible, nice work devs! I appreciate the access to advanced controls and the ability to export in many useful formats. FYI to users, look into 3D Gaussian splatting if you’re looking for realistic 3D recreations (other apps like Luma 3D or Scaniverse).

### ***** "This app is even better on the 16 Pro Max"
I can’t believe how good this app is for a free app. I first used it on my iPhone 12 Pro Max and the scans were good. Not great, but good. They did room scans better than detailed small objects. You usually had to go into an app like Blender to clean up the geometry. But now I have an iPhone 16 Pro Max and I did a scan in low light and it is the best scan I’ve ever done. The writing isn’t all crystal clear, but again, this is free app. The image was so clear even the measurements were correct on it. Sometimes with the lower quality camera on the 12, low light scans and small objects bellow 50cm start to get highly distorted and require better technique and multiple attempts. This app also out-performed Reality Scan on the cloud processing as it has been an hour now and reality scan is still processing. 

I am going to rescan some of my scans from the 12 Pro Max scans to see how much more improved the scans can be! 

This app is very cool and if you are on the fence, download it and try it out. You really have nothing to lose for the time you put into it. I highly recommend it for 16 and 15 pro cameras.

I had previously written a review about the results being worse than Monterey, but i'm happy to report that it has since improved. I'm not sure if this is an OS update related or if Laan labs did something, but this is by far my favorite program for Object Capture. I love the queue option and the viewer, it's really great.
