## 5SecondsApp Description
Turn any photo or video into a GIF in seconds.
5SecondsApp is the fastest way to create, edit, and share animated GIFs on iPhone. Shoot something new or grab anything from your camera roll — then make it move.
Create
Snap photos or record video right in the app, or pull from your existing library. Want something more hands-on? Use stop-motion mode to build GIFs frame by frame. Your media, your GIF, your way.
Edit
Trim, reorder, adjust speed, and more. Import GIFs from anywhere — including millions of GIFs from the GIPHY library — and tweak them to perfection.
Share
Send your GIF as a file or as a shareable link, hosted instantly at 5secondsapp.com. And with the built-in iMessage extension, you can browse and send your GIFs directly from the keyboard — no switching apps.
No signup. No social network. No nonsense.
Just open the app and make GIFs.

## 5SecondsApp Reviews in United States

### *---- "Bad."
Hard to use, poor quality gifs, imprecise video editing.
-- Elisabluh, 2025-08-20

### ***** "I Love this App"
I have been using this app for many years now and I love it
-- Brown eyes MU, 2025-07-04

### ****- "Great app. Crashing on wmv/avi files w Dropbox tie-in"
Generally, a great app for iPhone and iPad. I’ve used a lot over many years and enjoy it. Can’t beat the price.

One star off because it is crashing on my iPad every time I try to import a wmv or avi file from Dropbox.
-- JohnBlue67, 2024-11-25

### ***** "Not to shabby"
I’ve had this app for awhile now and made more the my fair share of gifs. This app is kinda fun. I’ve had loads of fun with this app since I’ve had it.
-- MuNkY44, 2024-11-03

### ***** "Simply the BEST"
I purchased this on 11 April 2014, and I’ve made thousands - not hundreds, but literally thousands- of gifs with it. The interface is as intuitive as you could hope for. On several occasions I’ve written the developer with a question or suggestion, and he’s responded quickly and helpfully every time. The app has worked perfectly for me on every model iPhone I’ve used from 4S to my current 13 Pro (running iOS 18.1). I absolutely love it.
-- Stuart Gardner, 2024-10-31

### **--- "Ad hype"
The Ad advertising this app is better than the choice of gifs and navigating it is HORRIBLE‼️
🙉😬☹️
-- ziggy21nyc, 2024-08-27

### ***** "🏆 Not a greedy developer 🏆"
APP operates flawlessly.

Definitely worth the 2$

It’s hard to find a non bank draining app these days.

❤️
-- JIZZUMZ, 2024-03-11

### ***** "No gimmicks. Works as advertised."
App has lots of extra utilities and features as well.
-- sushidub, 2024-01-14

### ***** "Thank you!!!"
After installing over 30 apps and visited many websites I finally found this gold! Thank you so much!
-- mr.carfish, 2023-03-13

### *---- "They Stopped Updating App"
It converts Gif to a slower than Original version and that’s the Pro Add On! It occasionally stops rendering anything.
-- Hasnofaith, 2022-08-16
