Very good dictionary
Easy to use, many words and expressions, thesaurus, grammar rules, suggestive pictures and videos for difficult topics.

Folosesc acelaşi dicționar Longman în format fizic şi am fost surprins în mod plăcut să văd că această „aplicaţie” este fidelă primului; sunt reproduse imaginile, sensurile mai obscure cât şi propozițiile-exemplu care ajută la o mai bună înțelegerea a termenilor. Cu siguranţă cel mai mare avantaj constă în ușurința utilizării. Deschiderea programului, căutarea cuvintelor şi afișarea lor au loc foarte rapid, chiar şi pe dispozitive mai vechi (iPod Touch 2nd gen). Se câştigă mult timp. Cuvintele se pot însemna (bookmarks si flashcards) astfel se pot crea liste cu termenii preferați sau cu cei pe care dorim să-i învățăm/repetăm. Un alt avantaj: dicționarul este actualizat destul de frecvent așa că termeni nou-intrați în limbă se vor găsi şi în „aplicație”. Unele dicţionarele online sunt poate mai detaliate, dar nu sunt la fel de structurate ca acesta. Îl folosesc mult când citesc cărţi în engleză şi nu mă aflu in preajma unui calculator; de obicei caut cuvinte care nu fac parte din vocabularul de bază, dar a căror înţelegere apropie textul de cititor. Recomand acest dicţionar tuturor persoanelor care folosesc limba engleză indiferent de domeniu, atât începătorilor cât şi „bilingvilor”.

Not grammar
I have installed the desktop version on my PC and I was very satisfied. I have bought this version just having the some features on the iPad but disappointed. No grammar support or exercises as on the desktop. If I have the possibility I would like to return it. Maybe is just my mistake, but I did not find the demo or trial version to see it before to buy. The apps is great if you want just a complex dictionary but if you want to use it for learning, forget the iPad version.
