7 Little Words and More Reviews
Was my favorite game!
It’s no longer my favorite game because it has way too many ads and you have done away with hints,! I don’t mind watching a few short ads but now they are long and frequent. I would not buy any of the products because they annoy me and are constantly repeating the same ad.
A Once-Great App Undone by Poor Optimization
I’ve played Seven Little Words for over 10 years and completed 22,934 puzzles. It was my favorite app—beautifully simple, educational, and rewarding. Sadly, the app has become frustrating due to serious data storage issues.
The app now takes up an enormous amount of storage on my device and in the cloud, caused by excessive data from ad providers. While Blue Ox recommends moving the data to the cloud, this doesn’t solve the root issue, as the storage will inevitably creep back up.
The ads have also become intrusive—many are loud, flashing, and disruptive. I now play on mute just to avoid the noise.
It’s heartbreaking to see such a beloved app decline. I hope the developers will address these issues, as the app desperately needs a restructure to live up to its potential. Until then, I cannot recommend it to others.
Love it..not the ads
Is there any way to purchase this ad free?
Z Bon
A great little game to test your vocabulary with a bit of a British tilt sometimes which can make it tricky for Americans.
Won’t load
7 Little Words will not open. It takes forever for the bar go across while it says “Providing Motivation “ but when the bar gets to the end, it just stays and never opens. My coworkers and I play every day at lunch and this is very disappointing. We’ve enjoyed the Red Herring game.
Couldn’t leave well enough alone
This was a fun little game until they got greedy and peppered it full of ads, and then kept messing with and “improving” it until they finally broke it. I’m certainly glad I never paid any money for this
Please Stick to the Premise
Okay. I have been playing this game for years now and I finally have to say it: is it supposed to be about my ability to recognize random words divided into non-syllabic units, or about my knowledge of Portuguese soccer players? There is zero chance in the world of my knowing the name “Eusebio” without looking it up. Ditto for long-ago PMs, deposed banana republic dictators or Inuit terms for sealskin hats. Those can be a whole other game in which the creator can let his trivia flag fly, but THIS game is about English language knowledge. I beg you!
Terrible Ads
I paid for this app back in the day. It seems that version is gone?
Anyway, this app is terrible with ads. 👋
Bean
Love this difficult challenging word game.
Hints
Bring back the Hints Chest. One ad per hint! Really unhappy with this change.
