I’m also having the same issue/getting the same message as mentioned in the previous review. I have never used 8tracks in another country outside of the U.S. either and this has never happened to me before. -- atwoodsmariano, 2025-01-02 ### *---- "“No longer supported” While in US?" I’ve been using this app for a couple of days (I used the website all the time), and the app functioned completely fine, however, now when I open the app, I get a message saying 8tracks is no longer supported in my country. I am in the US, and the linked article says they are only restricting access for users outside the US. Why is this occurring for me? I’ve never used 8tracks out of the country. -- lilbeeboi, 2024-12-31 ### ***** "Good playlist radio" Stuck with a subscription model, 8tracks is great as an internet playlist radio to listen to. -- bluewolf84, 2024-10-22 ### *---- "PLEASE DELETE MY ACCOUNT" I’ve sent multiple emails already and 8track still won’t respond and delete my account. DELETE MY ACCOUNT NOW! -- _AN0N.P, 2024-08-03 ### *---- "No fix 1 year later" I wrote a review almost exactly one year ago about being unable to log in to my account on the app. my account is (and has always been) linked to my Google account, and as such I do not have a password for traditional login. They have an integrated “log in with Google” button on the website, and I can log-in fine if I access the site via safari, but—for reasons unknown—it is missing from the actual 8tracks app. In the YEAR since I made that review, this issue has not been fixed. I love this website, I have a lot of nostalgia for the time when it was my main source of music listening, and I regularly check in, wanting to revisit playlists or search something new—only to find that I still can’t access my account. I understand that streaming and hosting a site like this is not a cheap endeavor. I am at a place where (if the functionality and UI weren’t literally impossible to use) I would willingly pay a premium to support the app—if I knew it meant I’d be getting a usable service. Unfortunately, I cannot recommend it to anyone in its current state. I’m honestly shocked that it isn’t completely defunct at this point in time. It was a great service about a decade ago, and it’s really disappointing to see it get less and less functional as the years go on. -- kowaiSUPREME, 2024-06-01 ### *---- "So Slow and Difficult to Use" My goodness, I've spent three hours straight trying to upload my own playlist using mp3 files, but the website and app are horribly slow. I've managed to wait out the long loading pages, but uploading songs give me issues as well. It always tells me there's been an error too, and I've looked everywhere to find a solution. All other solutions fail too. I don't know if I'm using this app correctly but there aren't great options online to find out how to properly work this. Apparently I'm the only user having this issue and it's very frustrating :( -- Gizonzille107, 2024-01-28 ### *---- "Used for years\Stopped" The optimizations in the app are still horrendous years later. It should be streamline. Easy to use. Why have I spent a half hour trying to find a way to see my songs I uploaded years ago in a clean list I can tap to play? I keep getting “watch on YouTube” and other options and ITS NOT EVEN ON YOUTUBE! Clean this app up for the love of god. -- silverthehedgehogxx, 2023-12-28 ### ***** "Music for feelings I did not yet know I had" This app is like a rosetta stone for my wants. The rosetta stone metaphor here is the translation of wild thought into and experience. Though the ads are jarring from that plane of being sometimes; i can really complain, free is free. -- Nuxanderen, 2023-12-05 ### *---- "great when it works" right now i can’t log in from my phone even after logging out on my computer. -- Koneko.Girl, 2023-12-01 ### ***** "So glad it’s still around" I probably got 8tracks in 2018 and when I found it that it was leaving, I was devastated! I’m very glad it’s still here so I can enjoy playlists catered to my tastes! -- Mountain Chicken Slayer, 2023-08-26 [View all 8tracks reviews and detailed analytics on AppTail](https://app.apptail.io/signup?utm_campaign=ai-crawl&utm_content=reviews) ## 8tracks In-App Purchases | Item | Price | |------|-------| | 8tracks Plus Subscription | $9.99 | ## Apps Similar to 8tracks - [bopdrop - social music](https://apptail.io/app/bopdrop-social-music-ZXt/united-states) - [Musicboard: Albums & Songs](https://apptail.io/app/musicboard-albums-songs-GLu/united-states) - [Last.fm](https://apptail.io/app/lastfm-qFL/united-states) - [Bandcamp](https://apptail.io/app/bandcamp-NUM/united-states) - [Napster - AI Music & Experts](https://apptail.io/app/napster-ai-music-experts-KiN/united-states) - [Jango Radio - Streaming Music](https://apptail.io/app/jango-radio-streaming-music-yybb/united-states) - [AccuRadio: Curated Music Radio](https://apptail.io/app/accuradio-curated-music-radio-dpPb/united-states) - [Trax Scrobbler](https://apptail.io/app/trax-scrobbler-SMzc/united-states) - [Hype Machine](https://apptail.io/app/hype-machine-WlVc/united-states) - [Indie Shuffle](https://apptail.io/app/indie-shuffle-fUyj/united-states) --- ## About AppTail [AppTail](https://apptail.io) is a mobile app intelligence platform providing app analytics, ASO (App Store Optimization) tools, keyword tracking, competitor analysis, revenue estimates, and review monitoring for iOS App Store apps.
