The object of the game is to leave the opposing player with fewer than three pieces or, as in checkers, no legal moves. Placing the pieces: The game begins with an empty board. Players take turns placing their pieces on empty spots. If a player is able to form a row of three pieces along one of the board's lines, he has a "mill" and may remove one of his opponent's pieces from the board; removed pieces may not be placed again. Players must remove any other pieces first before removing a piece from a formed mill. Once all eighteen pieces have been used, players take turns moving. Moving the pieces: To move, a player slides one of his pieces along a board line to an empty adjacent spot. If he cannot do so, he has lost the game. As in the placement stage, a player who aligns three of his pieces on a board line has a mill and may remove one of his opponent's pieces, avoiding the removal of pieces in mills if at all possible. Any player reduced to two pieces is unable to remove any more opposing pieces and thus loses the game. ## 9 Men's Morris Screenshots - [Screenshot 1](https://is1-ssl.mzstatic.com/image/thumb/Purple118/v4/df/e1/9b/dfe19b9e-820c-d63d-dd11-29d343bda3aa/mzl.zgwyouam.png/640x960.png) ## 9 Men's Morris Rating Breakdown in United States - 5 stars: 12 (57%) - 4 stars: 3 (14%) - 3 stars: 3 (14%) - 2 stars: 0 (0%) - 1 stars: 3 (14%) ## 9 Men's Morris Reviews in United States ### *---- "Adandonware" Title says it all. -- jeffhrsn, 2022-10-11 ### ***-- "Need harder Ai" Need harder Ai -- TaylorGang1819, 2020-04-27 ### ***-- "Needs work" Overall really enjoy it, very stimulating as far as strategy games go. One bad thing is it turns off audio apps that are running as soon as you move a piece, very annoying. This happens with the Apple music app & third party stuff like Overcast. Also, whenever you move your piece the computer moves in like a tenth of a second or less. Its impossible to actually see so you have to look over the entire board to find their move. -- Milamber1931, 2019-05-20 ### *---- "TERRIBLE!!" This game doesn't even follow the rules of nine men's Morris. This game was a waste of time. -- Fandango III, 2016-10-18 ### *---- "Cheater" The game cheats. I had three in a row multiple times and it did not let me eliminate a chip of the computer. -- Fjsinfnk, 2016-05-15 ### ***** "Awesome!" This has kept me occupied for so long and I played it with my parents this is very good and I would like to see more CHEERS! -- Javenareo, 2015-12-23 ### *---- "JUNK" I payed the .99 to remove ads. While playing I selected "fly" but when you get to that point, and you try to remove an opponents piece, it crashes Save your money, were do I go for the service desk for return? -- Boondocksjp, 2015-09-11 ### *---- "Game crashes" I got this game for my ipad air 2, when i succeed in a "mil" it crashes. Recommend not buying this till the bug is fixed. I will change my review when that happen. Works fine if you are losing. -- Mojavegreen1, 2015-09-06 ### *---- "Won't let you win" Every time I get in a winning position, it either turns on fly mode or crashes. When I have it down to 3 men in a mill, and I make a mill, I can't take any of the opponent's men! But when the situation is reversed, it will surely take mine! Please fix the game!!!!!!' -- TNGirlfromKS, 2015-08-30 ### *---- "Cheats & crashes" When you are winning it will crash or turn on fly mode when you had it off. When it has no more moves it thinks a little and then says it won. Nice joke! -- ChuckRuck, 2015-07-14 [View all 9 Men's Morris reviews and detailed analytics on AppTail](https://app.apptail.io/signup?utm_campaign=ai-crawl&utm_content=reviews) ## 9 Men's Morris In-App Purchases | Item | Price | |------|-------| | Remove Ads | $0.99 | ## Apps Similar to 9 Men's Morris - [Muhle and Mills](https://apptail.io/app/muhle-and-mills-VP/united-states) - [Advanced Mill Lite](https://apptail.io/app/advanced-mill-lite-xPb/united-states) - [Mühle - Mills](https://apptail.io/app/muhle-mills-Lgh/united-states) - [Mühle - Online Brettspiel](https://apptail.io/app/muhle-online-brettspiel-WGq/united-states) - [Madagascar Checkers](https://apptail.io/app/madagascar-checkers-qmJe/united-states) - [Advanced Mill: Mühle](https://apptail.io/app/advanced-mill-muhle-jaug/united-states) - [Nine Mens Morris](https://apptail.io/app/nine-mens-morris-giug/united-states) - [Muehle](https://apptail.io/app/muehle-Gkug/united-states) - [Boardspace.net](https://apptail.io/app/boardspacenet-snug/united-states) - [Ancient Board Game Collection](https://apptail.io/app/ancient-board-game-collection-Xrug/united-states) ## 9 Men's Morris Available In - [United States](https://apptail.io/app/9-mens-morris-chb/united-states) - [Saudi Arabia](https://apptail.io/app/9-mens-morris-chb/saudi-arabia) - [United Kingdom](https://apptail.io/app/9-mens-morris-chb/united-kingdom) - [Brazil](https://apptail.io/app/9-mens-morris-chb/brazil) - [Norway](https://apptail.io/app/9-mens-morris-chb/norway) - [Japan](https://apptail.io/app/9-mens-morris-chb/japan) - [Mexico](https://apptail.io/app/9-mens-morris-chb/mexico) - [Switzerland](https://apptail.io/app/9-mens-morris-chb/switzerland) - [Russia](https://apptail.io/app/9-mens-morris-chb/russia) - [Argentina](https://apptail.io/app/9-mens-morris-chb/argentina) - [Australia](https://apptail.io/app/9-mens-morris-chb/australia) - [New Zealand](https://apptail.io/app/9-mens-morris-chb/new-zealand) - [Türkiye](https://apptail.io/app/9-mens-morris-chb/turkey) - [United Arab Emirates](https://apptail.io/app/9-mens-morris-chb/united-arab-emirates) - [Canada](https://apptail.io/app/9-mens-morris-chb/canada) - [Chile](https://apptail.io/app/9-mens-morris-chb/chile) - [Colombia](https://apptail.io/app/9-mens-morris-chb/colombia) - [Algeria](https://apptail.io/app/9-mens-morris-chb/algeria) - [Egypt](https://apptail.io/app/9-mens-morris-chb/egypt) - [Hong Kong SAR China](https://apptail.io/app/9-mens-morris-chb/hong-kong) - [South Korea](https://apptail.io/app/9-mens-morris-chb/south-korea) - [Kazakhstan](https://apptail.io/app/9-mens-morris-chb/kazakhstan) - [North Macedonia](https://apptail.io/app/9-mens-morris-chb/north-macedonia) - [Malaysia](https://apptail.io/app/9-mens-morris-chb/malaysia) - [Peru](https://apptail.io/app/9-mens-morris-chb/peru) - [Singapore](https://apptail.io/app/9-mens-morris-chb/singapore) - [Taiwan](https://apptail.io/app/9-mens-morris-chb/taiwan) - [Azerbaijan](https://apptail.io/app/9-mens-morris-chb/azerbaijan) - [Ecuador](https://apptail.io/app/9-mens-morris-chb/ecuador) - [Belarus](https://apptail.io/app/9-mens-morris-chb/belarus) - [Kuwait](https://apptail.io/app/9-mens-morris-chb/kuwait) - [Armenia](https://apptail.io/app/9-mens-morris-chb/armenia) - [Israel](https://apptail.io/app/9-mens-morris-chb/israel) - [Indonesia](https://apptail.io/app/9-mens-morris-chb/indonesia) --- ## About AppTail [AppTail](https://apptail.io) is a mobile app intelligence platform providing app analytics, ASO (App Store Optimization) tools, keyword tracking, competitor analysis, revenue estimates, and review monitoring for iOS App Store apps.
