« Boussole et Terre » s’adresse aux passionnés de géographie, aux amateurs de technologie –
et à tous ceux qui souhaitent simplement une belle boussole sur leur téléphone. 
Pas de publicité, pas de suivi des données – pour le prix unique d’un bon cappuccino. 
L'application propose les fonctionnalités suivantes : 
1. Affichage du compas 3D
* Rose des vents classique et représentation spatiale du champ magnétique
* Indication géographique en degrés
* Direction du vent (16 vents)
* GPS : vitesse, altitude et position
* Direction et inclinaison du champ magnétique 
2. Vue AR (Réalité Augmentée)
* Superposition des indications de direction sur l'image de la caméra en direct
* Détermination de l'azimut et de l'altitude des objets visés 
3. Voir à travers la Terre
* Pointez votre téléphone vers le sol et regardez à travers le globe
* Alignement automatique et précis
* Zoom pour mieux voir les petits pays et îles
* Touchez l'image pour obtenir des informations sur le pays, la région, l'île ou l'océan visé
* Affichage des coordonnées ciblées et de la distance de tunnel :-)
* Découvrez votre antipode ou testez vos connaissances en géographie 
4. Vue de l’espace sur votre position
* Idéal par exemple pendant un vol
* Avec GPS : affichage de la position, de la vitesse au sol et de l'altitude
* Sans GPS : affichage de la pression en cabine et de l'altitude équivalente 
5. Horloge analogique
* Horloge analogique classique
* Affichage du baromètre
* Utilisez votre téléphone (ancien ou nouveau) comme une horloge élégante 
Remarque : Tous les iPads ne sont pas équipés de GPS. Le compas repose – même à l’ère du GPS – sur la mesure du champ magnétique terrestre. Cette mesure peut être perturbée par des aimants dans la coque du téléphone ou par d'autres objets magnétiques ou électriques à proximité.
