I can name a lot of problems that can be addressed in this app but the core of this app is solid. Even so that if I didn’t have this app, owning our little electric car which can only do 200km in the winter would be a nightmare to have. We went to Norway on vacation and with freezing wether and a fully packed car the estimated range was spot on the whole trip! Also not having to worry or figure out when and where to charge is a absolute bless! Thank you ABRP for this awesome app!

After a recent update, the app shows incorrect charging cost in the route. This has been the case for weeks now. The app also does not show charging cost of the charging stations in the route making it futher inconvenient to use. I am skeptical about how would the platform survive the competition with such bugs or poor ux in place.

Deze app gebruik ik nu bijna 6 jaar en altijd tot tevredenheid. Het wordt regelmatig weer bijgewerkt en verbeterd. In de Tesla kan ik via de webbrowser een groot scherm opvragen maar meestal voldoet de telefoon. Het berekend snel en nauwkeurig verbruiken en ik bepaal zelf waar ik ga laden. Wat mijn favoriete merken of locaties zijn. En goede ritregistratiemogelijkheden.

Er gaat geen rit voorbij of de app verliest verbinding met mijn auto. En dan heb je dus niks meer aan de actieradius en de voorspelde % bij aankomst. Premium versie is wel een beetje zonde geld op deze manier, want een navigatie is gratis en functie waar hij voor bedoeld is werkt dus heel vaak niet

I cannot believe how bugs like this exist in a such a product at €5 p/m. 
It’s great to see live availability of charging stations but there are too many negative points:
- for some reason my current location sometimes shoots way off to a previous location (hours ago) and cannot be fixed
- actual traffic can be seen on the map but has no effect on the ETA nor on the chosen route. 
- I got a negative remaining driving time more than once 
- menu is unclear and you easily get lost (in the menu)

Seems to me that there need to be some serious testing first before they release their product!

Have this app for a while now, took premium for a while as I had long trips ahead of me. This app can be só good, but just is not there yet. I cancelled the premium version again last week because; 1) Planning routes works well, but during the actual drive the data from the car does not come through in a good enough interval. This means that the remaining range does not change and the app continuously wants me to re-route to a stop further away while in reality this is unachievable. 2) while someone is driving and you want to check ahead for a charger, it just becomes frustrating. The map keeps going all over the place. 3) routes in general are questionable. The only real advantage currently, is being able to see charger availability while on the road. But then again; only when it has a route running. 4) it crashes on moments I really need it (navigating). 5) on long trips (say over 250km+ in one go) the app gets a delay in the geo location. It thinks I am 10-15 mins back in time, making navigating troublesome.

That is just not enough for an app at this price. ABRP can either; 1) offer the app at 50% for a big beta testing community and get to work quickly on that input 2) keep the app at this price and see how competition will catch up and annihilate it 3) sell to a EV car manufacturer

I have regular used the premium version when I travel abroad as it shows non occupied chargers which has helped me a lot avoiding queing op at chargers losing time.

However this summer holiday the app froze several times just before an exit I had to take.

Also is the app sometimes very slow showing I have to take the exit in 10km while the exit is already there.

Hope recent update had improved it as last year I didn’t have those issues on the iPhone 15 latest firmware.

Also the map could be improved better pointing out the exit signs 

I like the way it works with the obd dongle and showing life status of the car

Although it features an occasional bug, this app has faced continuous updates and improvements. Its by far the best app to use for EV roadtrips, miles ahead of its competitors. I’d highly recommend anyone to at least give the monthly subscription a shot for planning longer distances. Be sure to connect an OBD dongle to your car.

An app that costs so much should be way better. * Strange UI that's not easy to use. * Routes are not  optimal. * App crashes every now and then. But yet it's the only app that I know that reads the SOC via Bluetooth. So that's awesome. I only pay for it when I go on a long trip (1 or 2 times per year) as it is not worth it for shorter trips.

### *---- "Landscape mode no longer viable since update"
Since the last major update, it’s no longer possible to use ABRP on the phone in landscape mode. The infocard blocks the navigation on the map and the speed limit icon. In the last version the infocard could be moved to either side of the screen or hidden but now it’s fixed in place.
It’s a pity since my Citigo only has a landscape mode phone holder and I had been using the obd Bluetooth connection to have a good indication of range and whether there is capacity at the next charger through the ABRP subscription. Now I’ve had to switch to Google maps for navigation and use the car’s GOM. I see no reason to renew the ABRP subscription unless this is fixed.
