Sends to known closed station.

Vurwefo333 on

Your app continues to send us to known closed charging stations. How can one possibly rely on your data when you send us somewhere we will be stranded. Crazy crazy crazy.

Excellent when it works, poor when it doesn’t….

The real Gowan on

I think the 5.0 release was premature. My system randomly crashes to the point where I have to turn off the vehicle and then back on for it to work. Constantly thinks I’m in CA or Europe when I don't have a plan active. Its the little things that distinguish excellent from poor so when it works it’s excellent but when the issues I mentioned happened it pretty poor!

Adding an amenity stop is gone??

C5789 on

I have relied heavily on this app ever since I got an EV, but after the 5.0 update it looks like one of the most useful and unique features of this app is gone - you can no longer search for a route where you stop at a charger near an AMENITY, like a restaurant!! As a driver of a Bolt, our charge stops are long, and it’s been so so helpful to be able to plan stops where we can sit down for a meal. I find it absolutely baffling that the feature would be removed! The “more” button just brings up reverse route and round trip now. Maybe it’s just a bug, in which case I will happily update my review … if not, oof, planning road trips just got a lot more tedious

Rivian, please prioritize safety, make CarPlay free.

tennr on

Rivian, Now that you own ABRP, please reconsider prior management decision to paywall CarPlay. This should be a basic feature that is available out of the box to comply with local vehicle law and to promote general safety. Why in version 5 does it continue to be a paid feature?

This app is ok, Rivian nav does better

Vicrhead on

The actual nav in the Rivian seems to do better than this app. I feel like the app adds way too many charging stops, which are not necessary. There are a lot of configuration options so maybe it’s a user error on my part. I’ve used this app in the past to plan a few trips and it was fine.

5.0 Update issues

phhan on

Just updated to the new 5.0. I like some of the new things. As a premium member, I'm glad some of the features are being spread out to free users. My problem is that some things have kind of broken. Two things in particular bothered me as a US user. First and foremost, it seems like all the speed limits are in kph rather than mph. I have my info displayed in mph. As an example, on my way to work, the speed limit was listed as 112 and my speed at 70. It was a bit of an annoyance. Secondly, the efficiency at 65mph used to display into the hundredths digit on the phone screen when running navigation through CarPlay. Now it only displays in the full ones digit and I can't get more precise data without going into the reference data in my app. I know many Europeans use watts per 100km or miles, which is pretty precise, but I'd like to have more accurate numbers either way.

Does the job well

Jazz Rules on

Used this app to plan and travel my first non-local trip. It was a bit disorienting as first but once I learned how to use it, it worked extremely well. It does have a few bugs, though, and identified a few exits as if I were thousands of miles away in Michigan (!?!?)

Very precise.

For the first time I took a trip with my electric car to a place about 100 kilometers away, a place that is geographically at an altitude 1000 meters lower than my city, the calculation of the battery consumption was correct, both on the trip and in The return trip, which was very different due to the difference in altitude, I think it will be a reliable tool to know what the battery consumption is for long trips.

Was working the other day
