## A Book of Colors Description
Explore hundreds of hand-picked color palettes, build your own from color theory or a photo, and copy any hex with a tap. Everything syncs across iPhone, iPad, and Mac through iCloud.

A Book of Colors is a color palette explorer and generator for designers, developers, artists, and anyone who works with color. Version 3.3 takes your palettes where you work: a widget that shows a palette an hour from your liked palettes, your own, or any pack, Siri and Shortcuts to open a palette or make one from a photo, palettes in Spotlight, and export to Procreate, Adobe apps, your wallpaper, and a printable PDF. It keeps the iOS 27 design: glass bars that float over the color, an icon-only tab bar, a Library tab, a side-by-side layout on iPad, and iPhone Duo support.

THE PALETTE
• Every palette fills the screen, with hex and RGB readouts on each color
• Swipe up and down to move through palettes, left and right to change the layout
• Ambient mode: palettes cycle on their own, full screen, until you tap

WIDGET, SIRI, AND SPOTLIGHT
• Add the Palette widget to your Home Screen for a palette an hour from your liked palettes, your own, or any pack, drawn in the layout you chose for it
• Tap the widget to open that palette, or its small arrow for a new one right away
• Ask Siri to open a random palette or make one from a photo, or add the Shortcuts actions to your own shortcuts
• Search for a palette by name in Spotlight and open it from there

CURATED LIBRARY
• 800+ hand-picked palettes in the Starter Kit, organized by mood: warm, cool, vibrant, neutral, and dark
• Palette packs you can show or hide, with new packs arriving in the Library tab
• Filter by mood, type, number of colors, the colors a palette contains, and the pack it comes from

CREATE YOUR OWN
• Generate: pick a base color and a harmony (complementary, analogous, triadic, split, tetradic, or mono) and get a balanced palette computed in a perceptual color space
• Manual: choose every color by hand
• Photo: pull the dominant colors out of any photo, then drag the sample points to pick exactly the colors you want
• Photo palettes also pick up the colors that stand out, not only the ones that cover the most of the picture

EDIT AND REMIX
• Press and hold the canvas to edit a palette in place: tap a color to recolor it, drag to reorder, add or remove colors up to ten
• Edit any palette from its Browse card

EXPORT
• Procreate swatches: open the file in Procreate and the palette is there
• Adobe swatch exchange: an ASE file for Illustrator, Photoshop, and other apps that read it
• PNG: a clean, labeled image with hex and RGB values, or the palette together with its photo
• Wallpaper: the palette at the exact size of your screen, with no labels
• PDF: pick any palettes and get one palette per page, Letter or A4
• Send any export anywhere with the share sheet

SYNCS EVERYWHERE
• Saved palettes, photo extractions, generated palettes, and likes sync across every device signed into your iCloud, including source photos
• See sync status in the Guide and sync manually any time
