I’ve used this app for free for 3 yrs now. There are plenty of free mediations to choose from. You can also purchase more if you like. I mostly use the same meditation daily bc it works for me, I don’t want to start my day without it.

### **--- "Assumes too much"
First meditations assume I can do much more than I can—like observing my thoughts come and go like clouds. And that I can quickly get to an extremely positive state of mind in 10 minutes in the morning. I get to about half way through and then it starts to feel like I’m trying to tell myself things that are not true. Meditations are part instructions/learning and part actual meditation—I prefer them to be separated. Don’t like background music. Finally figured out how to turn it off. I am 70 years old and these meditations seem to be spoken by and geared toward younger people. Lastly, I was told that this app was free, but only a few—sometimes not even the first meditation under a topic are available. I keep being asked to pay about $45/year for access to the rest. As a low income disabled senior, this is very discouraging, because I’m already having trouble making ends meet.

I’ve started using this app recently and I really enjoy it! I like it a lot so far and it has made meditation so much simpler and more enjoyable for me. The instructor’s voice is very soothing and helps me relax right away. I also really like the look of the app and its simplicity, it’s very easy to use and the meditation topics are really cool. The sessions vary from 5 to 30 mins which is perfect for me. If I’m really busy that day, I’ll try a 10 min meditation and if I have more time, I will try a longer one. I’ve found it incredibly helpful in lifting my mood and has really calmed my anxiety. I’ve started to become more positive, which is something that was missing in my life. Overall, this app is awesome, it’s really worth the money and you won’t regret it! 💙

This app offers an abundance of meditations and relaxation sessions on personal growth, self esteem, loving kindness, self compassion and has helped me reduce stress and improve my sleep. It’s very easy to follow and a user friendly application. I enjoy the sleep and the couples meditations and I use it every day. I highly recommend getting the yearly subscription and you can easily integrate it with your daily routine. I have noticed feeling better in general and less stressed right away!

### ***** "Exactly what I needed!"
Doctors and therapists are now recommending and prescribing meditation in order to improve health, and so I wanted to meditate for quite a while now, but never been consistent with this. I downloaded this app and I have to say, this is exactly what I needed. It contains short 10 min meditations and longer ones and has made a huge impact in my life so far. I find myself feeling more calm and I look forward to sitting comfortably and giving myself that self care I need. These meditations are life changing! I have noticed quite an improvement in my mood in general in such a short amount of time. I feel a lot more relaxed and peaceful when I try to meditate. Some of my favorites include resilience, releasing anxiety, deep relaxation, enhancing relationships, sleep and the health ones. I have made changes in my diet and started exercising more ever since I tried these meditations. I also  love the music, it’s super relaxing and calming. I initially downloaded this app for the meditation music which is truly amazing, but then I tried the guided meditations and the content is truly incredible! Lots of great Free options and new recordings are being released every month. You can find everything from breath work and mindfulness practices to creative hypnotherapy and visualization. Topics also range from improving health, relationships and wellbeing to finding happiness, and manifesting success. I’ve found some really great meditations that I try every week. I feel more centered and able to deal with stress while still enjoying my life and my journey. Thank you!

I started using A Happy Mind a while back. I’ve tried many others, but this one is my favorite! The recording quality is excellent, it’s almost as though someone is sitting right next to you and the sound of the voice is very soothing. The background music is absolutely amazing, it relaxes me right away! I also like that this app offers both short and long meditations from 5 mins to more than 30 mins. Sometimes you only have a few minutes that day and I like listening to a shorter session. Also, this app offers a variety of topics, another reason why I like it, for wellbeing, feeling happier, health and fitness, relationships, abundance, relaxation, sleep and so much more! It’s not only helpful to “calm your mind” but also releasing and letting go of any emotion that is holding you back.
