## A-Rix Meter Description
Tired of not knowing whether you're paying the right fare to ride an Auto Rickshaw or a Taxi? Tired of looking at fare conversion charts every time you finish an Auto or Taxi ride to see what you need to pay? 

You're in luck! A-Rix Meter on your iPhone uses your phone's GPS to accurately calculate the fare for you.

Simply slide to turn on the A-Rix meter when you get into an auto or a taxi and turn it off when the trip is complete. The meter calculates the distance and the fare live. It also plots the route from your starting location. You can compare it to the actual meter and see if you're being taken for a ride!

A-Rix meter has fare chart information for these cities:

Also works in Meru cabs in Bangalore, Mumbai, Delhi and Hyderabad in India (loaded as custom fare by default).

REST OF WORLD:
We are working on getting fare information for other countries. You can use the custom fare option to enter the details if you know them. Send an email to hello@arixmeter.com if you want to see your city on the list.

If your city is not in the list or you're traveling by a private taxi, there is a custom fare option where you can put in the fare information and use the meter.

Disclaimer: The accuracy of the meter depends on the GPS accuracy in your area, the weather etc. Although it will be accurate at most times to within 10 meters, there might be some conditions in which it isn't accurate. Use the information to argue with the driver at your own risk! We want you to keep yourself safe at all times.

Also, please note that continued use of GPS running in the background can dramatically decrease battery life.

Great nifty little app, doesn't take to long to setup but its worth to play around before you use it properly, drive to the shops and see how much it charges.

Ever wanted to charge friends on a rate, I have it works perfectly 😉 🚘

Great app I'd give it 5/5 but I think there's some room for more little adjustments/bug fixes etc, but keep up the good work tho!
