## Aakri Description
AAKRI is a futuristic, environmentally friendly start-up aimed at addressing the growing waste and trash management challenges faced by communities and the environment as a whole.

It serves as a single go-to point for the disposal of every kind of waste that a common person may need to discard. This initiative was conceptualized in 2018 with a simple yet powerful idea: "To protect our landfills from plastic and recycle as much as possible for the environment." Since 2019, our team has been offering all-day scrap and junk pickup services to residential and commercial customers. You call us—we’ll come to pick up your scrap. It’s as simple as that.

The platform aims to help identify and map assets that streamline the collection of post-consumer waste, schedule efficient and cost-effective pickups, and integrate segregated waste into a reliable recycling/vendor network. In its current model, AAKRI pays customers for the scrap it purchases, based on the weight of the material. The collected materials are then segregated according to grade and type and distributed to various recycling industries accordingly.

Our team will purchase anything that can be recycled. Over the years, AAKRI has expanded its network, adapted strategies, and embraced flexibility — which is the key to our growth story in the waste management space.

Residential, office, or corporate customers wishing to sell scrap or trash can schedule a pickup through the AAKRI App, raise a request on our website (www.aakri.in), or connect with us via our Toll-Free Number (1800-890-5089) to request a recyclable waste pickup.

Once the request is placed, our team confirms the pickup, arrives at the designated location at the scheduled time, evaluates and weighs the items, and loads them into the vehicle — all after paying the agreed amount to the customer.

We then segregate the collected waste into recyclable and non-recyclable categories and allocate them across our connected scrap network to various recycling industries.

## Aakri Reviews in India

### *---- "Waste not collected as per scheduled dates."
They never come on scheduled date and the waste gets accumulated. No proper communication. Very unprofessional service.
-- RkrishnaPai, 2024-12-27

### *---- "Very bad service"
Their service pathetically bad. What they collect is just biomedical waste. They’ve lot of options in their app. But none of them works except biomedical waste. I had booked for solid waste ( used furniture) through their customer care personnel. I asked them, why it’s not possible to book through their app? The customer care personnel said, any sort of booking is through biomedical waste option and customer care lady herself arranged for pickup. Today morning when that pickup person came , he was laughing at me.. I felt their behavioural arrogance disgusting… Any startup companies would survive purely on customer satisfaction. Understand that.. Dr. Joshie.
-- Dr.Joshy, 2024-12-19

### ***** "awsome app"

### *---- "Address doesn’t work"
App doesn’t work
—————————-
In iPhone when I add a new address it shows
Kalamassery municipality and there is no option to choose the correct municipality.

Horrible Support
————————
I booked waste pick up and waited for a whole day. There is no way to track if it was going to get picked up. I called them in the morning and was assured that pickup would be done. still no pick up was done. Tried calling the number but nobody is picking up.
Would really ask for a constant support or at least real time tracking to get a early feedback
-- rampler, 2024-10-12

### *---- "Bad service"
My mother is having severe arthritis and she is with a 6months old baby from morning 8 to 3 in the afternoon.so she is having mobility issues.Even after describing the condition of person present in the flat, they were not ready to come to door step to collect the waste.when informed to collect after 3 in the afternoon that is also not possible..they are preaching about rules..no rules is above humanity.
-- ghjsshb, 2024-10-08

### *---- "App crashes"

-- RibuRoyson, 2024-10-01
