Our aim is to provide children aged 0-8 and their families with a way to access the music and stories from the ABC that they love in a trusted online environment. ABC KIDS listen cares about providing Australian families with a safe space for their children to access educational and entertaining audio content. You and your child can listen to our radio station, which has been designed to suit the changing needs of a child’s day and night, or simply choose a program on demand that best suits your needs at that moment. Our programs are inspired by the Early Years Learning Framework of Australia, which encourages children to learn through play. The high quality audio programs give preschoolers a space where they can get their bodies moving and brains working. Explore, learn, and play, and later wind down, rest, and sleep. Episodes can be downloaded and will then be available for seven days in the app before expiring, allowing for listening without an internet connection. It’s free and commercial free. Other ABC apps designed specifically for preschoolers and their families include ABC KIDS iview and ABC KIDS PLAY. ## ABC KIDS listen Screenshots - [Screenshot 1](https://is1-ssl.mzstatic.com/image/thumb/Purple113/v4/49/9d/e8/499de844-ae25-8632-8864-4c75e54f3d00/pr_source.jpg/1242x2688.png) - [Screenshot 2](https://is1-ssl.mzstatic.com/image/thumb/Purple123/v4/d6/70/99/d6709934-729d-6c56-81d8-f2c7103d6ea6/pr_source.jpg/1242x2688.png) - [Screenshot 3](https://is1-ssl.mzstatic.com/image/thumb/Purple123/v4/55/81/da/5581da69-9e01-e7fa-e5da-5bb73a0a1702/pr_source.jpg/1242x2688.png) - [Screenshot 4](https://is1-ssl.mzstatic.com/image/thumb/Purple123/v4/3c/83/9f/3c839f3c-0e3a-abe3-0e44-262fbdd4694c/pr_source.jpg/1242x2688.png) - [Screenshot 5](https://is1-ssl.mzstatic.com/image/thumb/Purple123/v4/76/26/7d/76267dfc-91e9-1bc5-8bda-c97ba031dd7d/pr_source.jpg/1242x2688.png) ## ABC KIDS listen Rating Breakdown in Australia - 5 stars: 227 (65%) - 4 stars: 47 (14%) - 3 stars: 21 (6%) - 2 stars: 20 (6%) - 1 stars: 33 (9%) ## ABC KIDS listen Reviews in Australia ### *---- "Increasingly frustrating" Music playback is frequently buffering. App will not load different tracks via CarPlay anymore. -- 12345[]{}#, 2024-12-03 ### ****- "Great radio, podcast episodes" Great quality kid-friendly radio content for long trips in the car and for drifting off to sleep. I love the details like multicultural highlights on words in different languages. My son loves listening to the Gardening Buds podcast and we have started growing vegetables in the garden as a result. He was reminding me in the Bunnings to get sunflower seeds because “sunflowers bring happiness. We have listened to Dreamtime, Animal Sound Safari, and Let’s Pretend as well. Please continue funding for more quality educational kids podcasts like the ones that have been created because they really expand a kid’s (and parent’s) world of knowledge. They are enjoyable to listen to together and give great opportunities for bonding time. -- pakllama, 2024-09-22 ### ****- "Great content" Great content, my boys love a couple of imagine this episodes at bed time. It would be great though if there was a ‘play next’ or ‘add to queue’ option on the episodes so you could line them up instead of having to watch the time and select the next episode. -- Gooroon, 2024-08-08 ### ***** "Five stars🤩" I love your app it’s amazing and fantastic!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Great game. From Lucette♥️ -- Sssssaammmm, 2023-06-29 ### ***** "Great app" I fall asleep within a couple of mins -- mnbchfsd, 2023-02-10 ### *---- "Massive issue" Most shows will not cast to google home or best from phone. Works fine in car when connected, but when casting just refuses to play. Kids love the bedtime stories but can’t listen in their beds without me there. -- alex55224, 2022-10-16 ### ****- "Good but some glitches" We love this app, especially both story times, but it’s very sporadic about loading up the new days’ stories. I have to delete the app periodically for it to update. The volume issue raised by another review two years ago is still an issue; some stories are louder than others. It’s also now getting a little repetitive with the story choices - time to add some new ones into the selection! We love the gardening buds, yarns, story salad, road trip, shake and move...it’s a fabulous app and keeps my little ones off the tv and entertained and happy and calm, or moving and grooving safely away from YouTube etc. We love the recognisable voices from ABC too. Thanks for all your work on this - very much appreciated! -- Toddler mum :-), 2022-10-08 ### **--- "good but it’s all automated with zero care" Good but they hardly update the stories or check they even play… -- Darkpixel, 2022-10-06 ### *---- "bogan children anyone?" yeah... So if you want your kids to develop really harsh accents this app will help with that. They'll be saying their ar sound like a sea gull in no time! I was kind of hoping this app would have a variety of subtle or attractive/cultured accents. (aka posh.) Apparently that is too much to ask from abc. -- Geneva 530, 2022-09-27 ### ****- "A fantastic sanity saving app when it works; the name of my existence when it doesn’t." Our twins *adore* the bedtime stories component, and always ask for ‘The Alex Stories.’ However over the last couple months we’ve had numerous evenings where the app just straight up refuses to cast to the Google Home, either the individual speakers in the children’s respective rooms or the speaker group we’ve set up to play the stories simultaneously in both rooms. And on these nights where it won’t cast, the children will accept no substitutes and bed time becomes… hellish. So there’s some kind of problem with the app, but it’s unsure what. -- Chris: parent of twins, 2022-09-15 [View all ABC KIDS listen reviews and detailed analytics on AppTail](https://app.apptail.io/signup?utm_campaign=ai-crawl&utm_content=reviews) ## ABC KIDS listen Discovered Keywords - abc iview for kids - abc kids app - abc for kids - abc kids listen - abc kids listen app - kinderling kids radio - kids stories --- ## About AppTail [AppTail](https://apptail.io) is a mobile app intelligence platform providing app analytics, ASO (App Store Optimization) tools, keyword tracking, competitor analysis, revenue estimates, and review monitoring for iOS App Store apps.
