Updated App a week ago. Account transactions don’t show anymore. App freezes continuously.
I updated App last week…now when clicking on an account to show transactions it freezes continuously and no details show.
Have to shut App down by swiping closed. Back button doesn’t work either.
Was working fine until the new version released last week. Now the next version released yesterday still does not fix the problem. Has nobody noticed this problem??

Transaction List broken when in other time zones
When in a timezone that is one hour behind or ahead. The default date in the transaction list filter defaults to an invalid date. The app should not use the phones time but the South African system time as the current time
Lack of communication
Hi, I wanted to voice my disappointment with ABSA. I have been trying to close my account with ABSA since November 2020.
I receive a response from my emails that someone will be in touch, no one gets in touch and then I get an email that the case is closed.
When calling from abroad I speak to a consultant who then keeps me on hold for a long time. When I then have to call back admits coating ne too much I also get a new consultant.
It’s been a frustrating journey to say the least and ist also chewing up my finances. Everything I pay up on my current account to close it the next month comes up again with banking fees and debit orders I know nothings about. When querying the debit order with you I am told it will be investigated and that someone will revert back to me.
I am still waiting and because of this waiting I am racking up more financial debt.

Not great
With new branding one would expect a high functioning app... very disappointed. It doesn’t operate properly... have turned off my phone twice ... and still no luck. Call center suggested I use mobile data... as app not that functional on WiFi??? Are you kidding... who designed this... absa get closer to your users and technology... this is ridiculous..,
