ABUKAI's receipt scanner eliminates all the cumbersome work associated with creating expense reports and business expenses including typing data from receipts, categorizing expenses and looking up exchange rates. ABUKAI will "automagically” create your expense report and email it to you once you submit your receipts.

Downloading the ABUKAI Expenses mobile scanner application is completely free, and includes 12 expense reports/year (counted as sets of 10 receipts). Additional expense report submissions or customization require subscription to an ABUKAI Expenses account plan.

Do you require customizations or have a different expense report template?

With the standard version available for download, you will receive expense reports via email in Excel and PDF. ABUKAI can tailor reports to your company’s existing Excel format or directly post your expenses into your company's expense web portal, document management system or ERP system. For example, ABUKAI can directly post your expenses into tools such as Exact, FreshBooks, Intacct, MYOB, QuickBooks, Sage, or Xero Accounting. ABUKAI can also be customized to upload expenses into Oracle or SAP.

What a great App this is. Thank you

No report sent and I lost $6,000.00

I have not received the last two reports I submitted. This app has cost me almost $6,000.00 because I had to reimburse the company for lack of receipts.

Amazing

This is easily the best receipt scanning app I have ever seen.

Business

Thought this company was legitimate for business but it has poor customer service, signed contract since May and still has not delivered the product. They advised what the company “needs more time to develop” gives reason to believe this is fraud company and service. I do not recommend this for business contract for many users, not sure for personal.

Best Customer Experience

I was having a small issue with my app and received a call from Tony the next day, problem solved. Who does that anymore? Great customer service. Also every month when I do my expenses the app is easy to use, and I receive my expense reports back the same day.

This app is fantastic

Gets me all expense receipts done

Very good but recently glitching

Easy to use which I why I paid to upgrade for annual use. Easy to upload receipts & add notes. Nice output as excel or Csv files with accompanying PDF of receipts. My boss likes the generated forms as it makes it easy for processing reimbursements. The app does a good job in reading receipts and figuring out the vendor, date, amount, and location, but I do need to double check to confirm no errors, which is typical of all these types of apps. The only negative: app recently has been glitching: randomly closes mid-use and keeps making me re-activate the app with a new activation key that gets emailed to me. Why, I don’t know, but it’s an unexpected delay in getting my report ready. If Abukai can fix the glitches, I’d give this a 5 star, which it used to be. For now, it’s a 3-star. I still recommend the app if you can tolerate these annoyances, which may not happen to you. I’m a heavy user with big batches of receipts (app allows 60 max per report.)
