I need someone from the company to help me. I use the free app every day, multiple times a day. This evening every single transaction I’ve ever don’t since getting the app has disappeared.
Is there anyway to recover information if it somehow was deleted?
After 7 years of using this app I opened it on 5/8/2024 and 7 years of transactions were GONE!!! Everything! And I can’t even add an account and start over! So I bought the new “Accounts 3” version for $4.99 and guess what……… Exactly the same. I can’t even add an account and get started. And no, I did not do a recent software update. This is purely Accounts fault. Disgusted!
1 - Have been using Accounts 2 and then Accounts 3 for many years with only the ocassional sync issue between iPad/iPhone - tried to fix this today however the “Cloud Sync” option would not allow me to select ‘disabled’ on the iPad - so I wanted to remove/reinstall. Removal was smooth however App Store wants me to pay for the app again. 2 - Tried to leave this review /Support Reauest on the iPhone (since the app is still functional there) but the App Store claims I can’t leave a review unless I’ve bought the app. Gotta say, requesting support via a review form doesn’t seem like a good workflow.
Update Review....Still using this app… It has been many years now (started using in 12/2013) and it works very well , thank you for fixing the issues that I was having. I love this app, it is one of my favorite and use it daily. If you are looking for another option to using paper registers, this is the app for you! I have not updated to the newest version yet and cant decide if I am, the free version works fine for me.
I have used this app for years and do not need nor want to upgrade, however, now it only allows for 100 TOTAL entries for all accounts! I have never been restricted to how many entries I have had! What happened? I’m getting ready to go back to my old paper system if I can’t figure this out!
If I create and account for my credit cards. When I use the transfer from say my checking to account to pay my Home Depot card. Would that payment reflect as revenue in my overall reporting being that my Home Depot account is receiving money? If so, how do I keep track of my credit card transaction separately?
I have had this app for several years and used it successfully. I now need to move my account to a new device and reading the instructions on SVT’s website, do not see the database icon it advises users to look for. I’ve searched high and low, and cannot find anyway to contact customer service or the company for technical assistance. They’re only guidance is to write a recommendation here or on a Facebook page (which does not appear to exist), and they will try and answer if they see it.
Had the app for many years. Wish there was a way to assign different currencies to specific accounts. Is that in the works?
…that said, i would loooove it if when populating the register *early* with recurring transactions, that it would date those transactions as stated instead of today’s date…or at least give us the option to do so.
