## Acorn Club Reviews in United Kingdom

### *---- "Not impressed"
We purchased the lift for my elderly mother and thought great there is an app that can let me see that she is using it daily. Unfortunately that’s not how it’s working, the only use it has shown to date is the day of installation. Despite 3 calls to helpline still no further forward. Switch off/on reboot, called again today call when in the house with her, did that to be told app working at their end. Reinstall on my phone & iPad again and no different 🤦🏼‍♀️. So another call is needed.

### *---- "Very Basic poor app"
App doesn’t do anything well and won’t retain user name or password. We use it to monitor our father’s use and it is annoying that you have to keep typing details in every time you use it.. you can’t change passwords or set up reminders or alerts. Given the stairlift cost £5k to install surely a decent app that doesn’t look like it was designed as an after thought and was modelled on a zx spectrum would not be too much to expect. Must try harder.

### ***-- "Ok but …"
Reasonable functionality, an annoying feature is that you need to login every time you start the app, like a mobile banking app. Unlike a modern banking app it doesn’t use facial recognition so it is user name and password every time. Another point is the app doesn’t help you to register so you need to go outside the app to register and obtain a username and password.
-- Supermac-1, 2026-05-20

### *---- "Difficult app"
I have logged in once but now cannot login again, there seems to be a problem with my login details, either email address or password, my email address is good so it’s the password, which is the password I recorded in Keeper, confusing, but the app does not have a facility to change the password so I will now never have access to the app, it’s really not very good, I am disappointed.
-- JamesCaister, 2025-12-12

### *---- "Poor updates"
The App is very slow to go I’ve live updated information. It has given us wrong or outdated information as to the charge by status and use of the stair lift which rather than giving us peace of mind has caused a degree of anxiety. Once the 12 months free period is complete I won’t be paying for a further subscription
-- The Lakes89, 2025-10-23

### *---- "Acorn app"
Only had the acorn app for a day and unable to access my account, I have a white screen.
-- 25Betty, 2025-08-29

### **--- "Pretty useless!"
This app is extremely frustrating… in fact it needs a lot of work to make it worth bothering with. I’ve only had access today, I’ve had to delete the app multiple times and start again as the page keeps going blank. If I was paying for this I’d want my money back. Please can you make it do what’s its intended to do!
-- suep1805, 2025-08-17

### *---- "Unable to rate because I can’t access"
Have just downloaded this and every time I try to login there is an error message telling me there is a server problem. Very unhelpful.
-- TeacherCath, 2025-08-02

### *---- "App useless"
This app is useless and a waste of money if you’re paying for it. Logs me out everytime so have to enter details again, or delete the app and reinstall due to a white screen and it does not accurately show where the stairlift is. Don’t be sucked into the salesperson advertising this as an asset, this is not! @acorn please sort this as families rely on this to have some reassurance on their vulnerable relatives
-- Glencairn 08, 2025-04-19

### ****- "Working fine for us"
Based on a couple of days use, seems fine and doing what we need it to.
The login “issue” is easily resolved (on iOS at least) by saving the login details in the passwords app.
Doesn’t seem to be updated / revised much which may be an issue.
Overall happy with it.
