To do this each column of the selected gets transformed by a Fast Fourier Transform and outputed through iPhones speaker. On the receiving iOS-device the received audio is visualized by a spectrogram and the incoming images get visible. You can use this app for example to transmit images very easily over a phone or to put images in every kind of audio recording. The pro-version has the additional features of choosing between two coding methods, choosing between linear and logarithmic frequency scale and the ability of sending the resulting audio as email. Also, the pro-version isn't ad-supported. ## Acoustic Picture Transmitter Pro Screenshots - [Screenshot 1](https://is1-ssl.mzstatic.com/image/thumb/Purple5/v4/3d/b3/ee/3db3ee0d-64a3-9581-e159-ebe3e0f8d52a/pr_source.png/640x960.png) ## Acoustic Picture Transmitter Pro Rating Breakdown in United States - 5 stars: 20 (65%) - 4 stars: 4 (13%) - 3 stars: 0 (0%) - 2 stars: 4 (13%) - 1 stars: 3 (10%) ## Acoustic Picture Transmitter Pro Reviews in United States ### **--- "app crashes" crashes when attempting to share sounds or load images -- I.like.music.also, 2024-06-29 ### ****- "more features" this app is amazing and almost a way to visualize wifi networks, how ever it could have a few more features. encoding color data or an option to use some form of audio encryption would be cool, to encode and decode audio realtime -- EpicCarp, 2024-01-29 ### ***** "A hidden jewel of an app." I really hope this app still has support. I don’t know if there are any others out there like this. I especially like the frequency selection so I don’t blow ears out. But I have some cool ideas for this. I’ve been messing around with a lot of random sounds to just to see what comes out of it. -- lofidelityrockr, 2022-01-15 ### ***** "Amazing and works great!" It is uncanny how good the image quality is, and a little bit eerie, although highly scientific in actuality. -- Dr. Charles Cavanaugh, 2020-10-17 ### **--- "Camera Malfunction(?) Reloaded /iOS 13" Would have liked to give this a great review, but the only function working was sending a picture from library and the audio play. The camera function did not work, no picture black screen, I reloaded reinstalled, the camera function showed now a sunshine or lighten brightened which stayed in black screen my guess is that the picture facing function pivot button doesn’t work. A Suggestion: I would prefer it allow the person to permission the camera as they have set, not use the program screen to do that part. In doing so, perhaps we can bypass this problem? Please message me, if there is a way to fix this problem. Thank you for the trial application. I once used a very good model to make spectrogram, in same app. We can also send and receive, but the image it made, we could simply change the pivot screen on our camera setting for selfie example shot and save to our library. -- steller_greenghost, 2020-04-22 ### ***** "It’s 1963 again!!!" This technology was used by NASAs satellites to transmit images, taken in space, back to earth. The principle behind that system is used in this phone app. Very cool. I now use it to broadcast images through my radio set to radio listeners across the country! Fun fun! -- Patrcain, 2019-09-23 ### *---- "App no longer works" App no longer works on XR -- AdamTaylorAudioProductions, 2019-09-17 ### *---- "This app broke since last update" My cam won’t open up and the mic doesn’t pick up the transmission. Please fix. I’ve had this app since my iphone3gs and have bought it 3 times . Works well on my legacy devices. This device is a 6s plus. -- picolinortiz, 2019-05-19 ### *---- "Doesn’t work" Doesn’t receive image -- Waterfrontgoats, 2019-05-05 ### ***** "Please update this amazing app" This app is Amazing. Please, please update it. Such a wonderful tool should come standard with computers and phones. Sharing files crashes the app, and the ability to switch between portrait and landscape would be a wonderful addition. -- DRPHiL90, 2018-11-26 [View all Acoustic Picture Transmitter Pro reviews and detailed analytics on AppTail](https://app.apptail.io/signup?utm_campaign=ai-crawl&utm_content=reviews) ## Acoustic Picture Transmitter Pro Available In -
