The ACR App allows easy access to Class B AIS and Emergency PLB/EPIRB information.
Live AIS targets can be displayed as well as Test and Ownership details for Distress Beacons.
NFC (Near Field Communication) allows access to ResQLink AIS PLB and GlobalFix V5 details where operation time, Battery condition and test results can be easily checked and displayed on a mobile device.
The use of NFC ensures that maximum battery capacity can be ensured giving you confidence that a Beacon will give maximum performance when required in an emergency situation.
WiFi connection to the ACR CB2 gives access to live AIS target data along with status and performance details. Initial configuration with vessel details for the CB2 Class B AIS is also carried out via the WiFi connection.

Worst ever

There is no tech support and the app does nothing.

Almost worthless

I agree with the other reviews. Not worth the effort.

Does it do anything?

It certainly is not finding my device (V5 with AIS and RLS). It seems to do nothing. The manuals tab does not even work.

What a shame.

The app is absolutely worthless. It does not connect to the PLB via NFC. No user manual. What a disappointment. What does that say about the quality and reliability of their devices?

The IPhone NFC won’t pick up the beacon’s data.

Does not connect

There’s no instructions. A connect button that does not connect w the Epirb. Step by step instructions would help

Needs better support

I was told some nonsense about merging accounts, and to create a new account so the ACR app would work. Sounded nonsensical to me

Useless-Serious issues

Worthless. How can anyone trust ACR Acrartex Ocean Signal with lifesaving devices if they publish an app this poorly designed. Take it down until tested and usable.

Needs work

App needs a lot of work. Font is in ACR yellow on a white background, hence very hard to read. Manuals button doesn’t do anything. Test either doesn’t work or not intuitive enough to do. No help built in.

Don’t waste your time

I’m having serious concerns about this MOB device. Can’t reach tech support, the device comes with no instructions, their website has issues, and this app does NOT work. Would you trust the AIS Link MOB device with your life???
