## AcroBox Description
Are you an aspiring aerobatic competition pilot? Or perhaps you're interested in doing IAC-style aerobatics just for fun? Either way, a key part of flying this style of aerobatics is "staying in the box", which has been difficult to judge from the air ... until now.

AcroBox lets you define the boundaries of a virtual aerobatic box compliant with the International Aerobatic Club's specifications and FAA regulations. Use the VFR and IFR charts to ensure that the box doesn't encroach on federal airways or airport surface areas, then use the aerial map to visually identify box boundaries. If you're setting up a box for a club or competition event, the "marker" mode shows exactly where the box markers should be placed.

If you have multiple devices, AcroBox lets you easily share box locations between them using iCloud. You can also share box details with other pilots via e-mail, and they will receive not only the coordinates of your aerobatic box but also a map image and a link to open the box in AcroBox or another popular flight planning app!

## AcroBox Reviews in United States

### ***-- "Would be great"
This app would be excellent and very helpful if the ifr and vfr charts would load on it flying in the north east there are a tun of airways. This would be great to stay legal hope it gets fixed
-- Humminahumminahay, 2024-06-25

### ***-- "Ok, only partly working"
Sectional and ifr charts don’t seem to work so no airway separation help. That’s pretty much the need for me in my crowded airspace. Seems like it’d be useful for box markers if I had the luxury of putting one wherever I wanted.
-- r j squirrel, 2021-05-16

### ***-- "won't load sectionals anymore"
For some unknown reason, it gets stuck trying to add VFR Sectional Views to the display lately.

Too bad...otherwise great.

### ***** "Needs updating for IOS"
This is a great app for creating / managing / flying in an aerobatic box! For FAA waivers, you need the Lat/Long coordinates which this app provides automatically! You can create a practice box and print it to take with you when you fly, as well. Awesome! Unfortunately the app doesn’t load on my iPhone with 14.4, but thankfully still works with an older IPad. I really hope the developer can update it for us! Thanks for the great app!

### ***** "Awesome tool"
I can quickly figure out measured practice areas and move them around my area to keep from annoying the same neighborhoods all the time.
-- LAVA Hill, 2020-10-01

### ****- "A Contest Directors must!!"
Cannot work the box without this tool!
-- fj40cruzer, 2018-11-10

### ***** "Acro box"
FANTASTIC. It was a great help in establishing a box at our airport
-- JDC10000, 2017-10-10

### ***** "Great app"
Works really well ! This is a great app!
-- Marquart flyer, 2017-08-24

### ***** "Great App for Aerobatic pilots"
This app is super for anyone that flys competitive aerobatics. Allows you to map out a box, very useful for finding a practice area or assist in laying out a competition box.
