## ACT Coach Description
Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) aims to help you live with unpleasant thoughts, feelings, and impulses without avoiding them or being controlled by them. In ACT, you are encouraged to commit to actions so that you can live your life by your values, even in the face of these unpleasant experiences. This app was developed for Veterans, Service members, and other people who are in Acceptance and Commitment Therapy in consultation with a therapist. It offers exercises, tools, information, and tracking logs so you can practice what you’re learning in your daily life.

ACT Coach was created by VA’s National Center for PTSD.

## ACT Coach Reviews in United States

### ***** "Valuable ACT Resource"
Among the top 5 apps on my phone in all categories. Spend time with it regularly and improve your psychological flexibility. Can't recommend it enough if you have an interest in ACT.
-- bsd1062, 2024-10-17

### ***** "highly recommend"
very useful app. No distracting advertisements or in app purchases unlike a lot of mental health apps. many different features to choose from but still easy to use
-- eveThomas, 2024-02-22

### ***** "No Problems with this App! 🇺🇸"
The low ratings are from years ago and are no longer relevant!
This app does not have stunning graphics and they do not ask you for money. 💰
It is set up like an outline, it keeps opening up to more information and exercises.
If you commit to this tool on it’s own terms it could possibly help you from putting a gun in your mouth.
ACT coach has helped me, it can YOU help too.
Stay Cool ,

### ****- "Mindful Log"
I was able to make a record of my experience but I can't access my log to reflect on it.
-- Green.T.74, 2017-12-10

### **--- "No audio"
Having the same issue as others. No audio for the audio guided exercises. Please fix the bug
-- Zeikhan, 2016-09-13

### **--- "No audio in guided audio exercise"
I chose the audio guided exercise, but there was no audio! There was onscreen text instructions. One of them said to close my eyes. How could I continue with the exercise if I needed to read instructions if my eyes were closed?
