Don’t trust only me. The average rating of 5.0 stars says it all. “Shortcuts” is one of the most genius apps in any operating system. It’s much  more limited than making your own app. But how many people have time or skill to do that? With shortcuts users can literally add their own features to the OS. “Actions” expands the limited native powers of “shortcuts” to a higher level, and is indispensable to anyone wanting to empower their devices. Many thanks to the developer(s). Make sure to get it for iPhone and iPad too!

The native Shortcuts app falls short on many ways. There are a lot of gaps in its genuine usability for creating sophisticated automation. Actions fills in many of those gaps. I use it in almost every shortcut I write.

I installed this and went to shortcuts to find orientation action mode but it is nowhere to be found. There are other actions inner shortcuts but that one isn’t there, in case that’s what you’re downloading this for, as was I.

### ***** "11/10 - An Amazing App for Anyone Needing Additional Shortcut’s Actions!"
Though Actions is very similar to Toolbox Pro, there are numerous Actions available that Toolbox Pro doesn’t have, so if you’re someone who has seen this and ignored it due to that fact then I’d highly suggest giving it an opportunity! 

 One Major difference of the two, currently, seems to be that unlike Toolbox Pro, Actions has an Active Developer that is consistently updating the app with bug fixes and loads of additional actions while Toolbox Pro’s Developer has begun to focus on their other apps/projects, which is understandable though still a tad disappointing…

Personally, though, I know I’ve got high hopes for this App and it’s Developer(s)! I’ll definitely be in contact soon to suggest some of my ideas for additional actions! Thanks a Bunch for this App and Keep Up the Fantastic Work!

EDIT (2 Years Later): I wanted to comment on this again and make some revisions to my initial review. I’ll start by commenting on the latter part of my initial review regarding the developer of Toolbox Pro. He, unfortunately, was ill… and terminally, if I’m not mistaken. He has since passed and may he rest in peace. The development of his apps were taken over by another group so no issues with updates now. 

 Now, even with updates, Toolbox Pro and Actions still may have similar functionality but they do have many that are unique to their own apps. Also, after a bit of testing, I’ve found the Results of some of the Shared Actions seem to have some slight differences as Some offer Data Points that the other may not include. 

Also, I would love to see the developers of this app continue with the swift updates and additions. I’ve honestly yet to encounter any issues and couldn’t be happier. I’d love to get in contact with someone behind-the-scenes to be able to possibly offer some recommendations & suggestions for, both, current and future Actions. Please Reach Out if You’ll are at all interested!

### ***** "Makes creating “working setups” an ease on my iPad…"
I am a copywriter, editor, and pulp fiction writer that has managed to downsize my work setup to just an iPad Air with Magic Keyboard and an external monitor. Everything works great — once I get the apps up and running!
The problem was in creating an automated way to starting what I need, sending a message to my husband letting him know what I am doing (and whether or not he can drop in without texting first), and enabling the accessibility settings to make my life easy.
Actions has solved that problem. The expanded options makes it easy for me to create a one-click solution that allows me to put in my earplugs, tug on my headset, and get to work.
I have three custom actions enabled with the extra features Actions add to Shortcuts — start an hour writing session, start an hour dictating session, and return to normal life. All three icons are now just a tap away on my home screen. :)

### ****- "Phenomenal.. but now slow :("
Over past few months updates made to the tool has made shortcuts run unbearably slow, I wish those changes would be reversed. Pulling up menus using the actions can take what feels like an eternity to display now. The changes also don’t appear to have resolved any of the bugs so not sure what the reasoning is.

(With that said) What an incredibly great addon to shortcuts!! Adds some sorely needed actions to the app which can seriously improve the functionality and make more advanced shortcuts. Glad to have discovered it and look forward to seeing what else gets added!
