Tired of hunting and pecking. Where’s some decent instruction??
Keeps shutting down completely unusable
I’ve had the app for years and has worked great for charting on my iPad, then syncing with the plotter. Recently (the past 4 months or so) the app keeps freezing and shutting down. Up to date iOS and app.
Active Captain
I use Active Captain to update by Garmin electronics. I have never had a problem. I highly recommend this app.
Retired
It has been easy to use and download information. For an older adult it’s hard to keep up with today’s technology. The app was very easy to use and was easy to transfer information from my phone to the units Thank you
Great App!
As a new sailor, I‘ve found the Garmin app to be user friendly and intuitive.
Completely hopeless
No information on swapping charts - if needed. SD card reliant yet my brand new plotter doesn’t recognize my brand new sd card…. Solution might bd to get a 32gb card and system update? Ha who can find one of them on a remote island? So i have subscribed to a chart I cant see on a devocd I can blue tooth to but without SD card seemingly a pile of junk. Epic fail.

I’ve had a few hiccups with the app here and there, but overall I’m happy with the features and ease of use.
