## ActiveFit Description
ActiveFit® is a healthcare app used by health plans and other sponsors to track and reward physical activity.   ActiveFit records steps walked and visits to more the 30,000 fitness facilities nationwide using geolocation and beacon technologies.
 
NOTE: ActiveFit® is only available to participants in sponsored plans. Features offered may vary.
 
App Features Include:
·       Earn monthly incentives by achieving any combination of  gym visit and step goals
·       Record gym visits at designated facilities automatically through geolocation & beacon technologies
·       Attend any of over 30,000 gyms nationwide and request gyms to be added
·       Apply gym activities across multiple locations
·       Manage gym facilities with interactive map
·       Self-report missed gym visits
·       Track activity progress towards monthly incentive
·       SmartWalking® step-tracking using Fitbit™ and Apple Health® app integration
 
ActiveFit® app uses location services to record attendance at fitness facility locations.
 
Continued use of GPS running in the background can dramatically decrease battery life.
 
ActiveFit® is integrated with Apple Health® Kit to share activity data with the app.

Unless you go into the app every day, it WILL stop syncing and you will lose days that it will not retroactively sync. I never have this problem with other health apps. The lost days are usually the difference between me getting the benefit and not, so when it comes down to it ActiveFit is just another worthless scam.

app suddenly stops tracking the steps from apple health. I have to then redownload the app to restart the syncing. I have missed many months of incentive because it stopped tracking my steps. very frustrating

This app is terrible. It has gone complete entire months where it doesn't capture my steps in a daily basis despite me troubleshooting and following every step to rectify. When it works its great. Which is rarely. I am now missing out in financial incentives due to the app not working properly. Which is probably exactly how they designed it.

In the past, if for some reason the app failed to sync my steps for the day, I could go back to that day on the calendar and simply sync steps and it would update. Whatever the company changed I am no longer able to do that. With it being summer I am spend more time outside hiking, walking and jogging an average of 4 to 5 miles a day. Several days did not sync. It looks like I am doing nothing and not hitting my 12 day goal. Very disappointed!!!! Please fix this and go back to how it has always been

Very poor customer service. App is always  glitching and failing to update the steps. Even when you can prove you got your steps in via your health app, you get some lame excuse blaming the user and they refuse to update it.

### **--- "Great program/app needs improvement"
As much as I enjoy the app when it properly works, there’s always some type of issue that comes out of nowhere. It ranges from not logging my steps, to logging me out and not allowing me to sign back in, which requires me to delete the app and redownload it. I have lost two months of accreditation due to this issue. When I brought it to customer services attention, and sent proof of my steps, they told me I didn’t log in enough despite me explaining the app did not allow me to log in. This is frustrating and inconvenient. They didn’t help at all.

Who developed this app? Cuz it’s awful. It doesn’t work half the time. Misses check ins and wont do the credits right. It’s terrible to use and interface with. Throw it all out, ask someone who has to actually use it, and then build it. Also l, get it together with Garmin. Cuz Apple health is also trash.

I hit my smart walking goal almost everyday of the month. When I check I have months that show only 1 day. The developers say they have fixed the issues but they haven’t.

I’ve been in the program for years and appreciate the benefits. However the app doesn’t allow you to update synchronization with an Apple Watch on specific days in the past when this app glitches out as it does at least once a month. I always have multiple days where it either won’t register my steps at all or only gives me partial credit. Customer support has always been lacking to address the problems.
