Actual Vote is an app that enables volunteers to make digital recordings of publicly posted polling place results for later comparison with official results.
By comparing the digitally recorded results with the officials results, discrepancies can be identified and acted upon.
* How Does It Work?
1. Users download the Actual Vote app on their smart phones which provide links to training materials.
2. After a polling place has publicly posted its official results, users use Actual Vote to make digital recordings of the results.
3. Once official results are announced, users can check the totals against what they and others have recorded from the Actual Vote website, http://av.democracycounts.org.
