## AcuDesign Description
Janome’s AcuDesign Embroidery App allows you to purchase, edit, import and export designs from your iOS mobile device. Includes 650 embroidery designs.
Import, export, print and edit your own collection of designs or purchased designs from your favorite Retailer or online, in all supported embroidery formats.
Scale your designs, change thread colors, fabric type and automatically adjust the density of embroidery designs. AcuDesign can save designs in multiple file formats to work with your machine.
Preview designs in Photorealistic preview and stitching simulation to ensure perfection every time. Share your designs with your friends on Facebook with one click.
Use your iOS device as a portable library, with automatic sync to iCloud and Dropbox!
Exports to Artistic Edge WiFi cutter 
Lettering capability (in-app purchase) with 20 high-quality scalable pre-digitized fonts.

Embroidery Browser
* Many free embroidery designs for download

* Filter, sort and search embroidery designs
* Select multiple designs and export them to stitch file and optionally ZIP them together
* Show the embroidery designs grouped either by package or by category
* US and Metric measurement system

Embroidery Viewer
* 3D photorealistic preview of the embroidery design
* Photorealistic, real-time simulation of the stitching process, with machine speed adjustment option and “move frame” ability; the sound of the machine can be muted or its volume adjusted from the Preferences. 
* Measure tool that allows you to measure your designs 
* Ability to change thread colors from a complete collection of thread color palettes (all major manufacturers)
* Representation of the "shiny" effect of rayon/polyester thread, according to the move of the iPhone/iPod or iPad.
* Change fabric type and fabric color for better preview of the final embroidery result.
* Send the thread information that you will use in the specific design by email, add the quantity you need and use it as shopping list. 
* Show the design in the embroidery hoop and re-center it if necessary
* Rename a design and add/edit tags

Embroidery Editor
* Ability to Undo and Redo any change you make
* Scale, rotate or slant the design with automatic stitch density adjustment

* Change the embroidery sequence of a design, using sequence manager
* Auto-fit a design to the size of the hoop

The app will not connect to whatever “server” Janome uses, so it won’t show any designs (prebuilt in or not). I can’t find any tech solutions or information for it online to fix the issue. I have reached out to different dealers of Janome and no one can help.

I have been watching YouTube videos to figure out how to use this app. When the ladies are telling you how wonderful the help tag is, I do just as they show and the app locks up. So now where does one go for help? 
I have spent more then $10,000.00 on Janome machines in the last month. I think the least Janome could do is update the app. 

It’s very sad to read reviews from 5 years ago begging for updates

Stay away from it . Purchased it for my mom, I am technician myself: to send the image via email ? Forget it , and please be prepare to send it through DropBox , you get lucky if you can send it the first time. My mom said she would not use it at all since it was difficult for me , it would be worse for her.

I used to use this app frequently to move my designs between computer and machine using Dropbox. Now the app is no longer compatible with Dropbox??  Please fix soon. This app had such potential, but little is done to update it or provide training.

I love this app.  Use it every single time I do embroidery on my 15000.  Easiest way to import designs and then transfer them to my machine.  Only thing I wish was included is a way to combine multiple designs in one hooping. - Keep the updates and new designs coming!

Works great! Use it every day. Cleans up stitches, change hoops, edits designs anyway you want, combines designs,works great with Dropbox. Love the “Fit to Hoop” button...what’s not to love. This app has so much potential as an easy way to save, view, and adjust embroidery for beginners in the machine embroidery world. Unfortunately it comes filled with useless garbage embroidery designs which take up tons of space, can't seem to be deleted, and make it inefficient to scroll and search through designs.  The price of this app and the quality of my Janome skyline made me assume that it would be a much more professional app. A better system to view thumbnails and store in folders would make a huge difference. I am astounded that they have made no effort to improve this expensive app.

### *---- "App crashing after update"
I use this app to get my designs from Dropbox to my Skyline S9. It has been working fine until the update to “fix” Dropbox. Now it crashes every time I try to access designs in Dropbox. The app indicates it has iCloud accessibility, but it won’t stay connected. There is virtually no support, within the app or on the website. Clicking on app support in the App Store takes you to tutorials on YouTube. I don’t need help on how to sew- I need help with this app! Now tonight I opened the app and was working with a file and suddenly all my downloaded files were gone! Everything I had customized is lost. Very frustrated!!!
