### *---- "Who Approved This!?"
Who at AcuRite reviewed this app and approved it in place of the old app? This is such a downgrade from what we had before. The information is not as detailed, it has a more difficult UI, and it is definitely not designed for any true weather geeks. I would not buy another AcuRite product or suggest it to friends if this is the kind of “upgrades” we can expect.

This app is essentially worthless for looking at data from an AcuRite weather station. It’s fine for seeing the current conditions, but that’s about it. The old “My AcuRite” app had really nice charting features to view historical data from the past week/month/year. This one has the feature, in theory, but the charts are garbage. The time of day is off by 11 or 12 hours (and doesn’t change when you update your location), so it doesn’t record anything after about noon and the scale of the graphs, which can’t be changed, makes them unreadable.

The old app is superior to the new mess up.  As one reviewer stated, the new app was developed by someone that doesn’t understand what a customer wants to look at for weather information. You guys failed.  
Plus air quality is blank…..
Plus, your email  advertisement in the change over to new app email, does not match what the app actually does.
5/13…when is the new app going to be replaced? When the app is loading, a screen flashes by, with multiple oblong ??  on it.  Supposed to be a weekly WX report, that doesn’t load?
This app needs to be replaced like before it was released. Users needed an app that gives them weather info.  Not an all around app for home automation.  If that is the way AcuRite is going, you need to refund everyone for purchasing your products.  PATHETIC FOR SURE!!!
SO ACURITE’s BIGGEST MISTAKE, IS NOT SENDING PROPER INSTRUCTIONS TO INITIALLY SET UP THE APP.  IT SHOULD HAVE BEEN INCLUDED IN THE NOTIFICATION.

Cannot rename devices. Does not recognize and display data from sensors with add on probes. This app is not an improvement, it is less useful than the old app.

The original MyAcurite worked perfectly and had a great app experience. Leave it to Acurite to screw that up! Beyond that they’re shutting the website down which most of us use daily! Instead of downloading this garbage find an open source program or abandon the hardware and run another companies products.

The original AcuRite app was great but now that we are being forced to use AcuRite NOW I am going to switch to a new home weather station.  AcuRite clearly is more interested in their home automation versus supporting current customers.  I am planning to change over all my equipment Ambient Weather systems.  No moving parts and an app like the old AcuRite app.

Dealt with Tech support to no avail.  My Optimus consistently drops my 2.4Mg router signal.  Router software shows connection but display indicates disconnected.  Close to punting on whole unit.

They went from an excellent app. To a piece of garbage.  The original app My AcuRite. Had clear clean graphics with large fonts. The graphs were easy to access and told you what you needed to know. This new app has tiny barely readable graphics does not display well on an iPad and the graphs. Are compressed and and again are tiny.
My feeling is they’re going to try and squeeze some type of revenue out of this. But the app has become horrible. Acutite you better think twice about what you’re doing. You’re going to have a hard time selling stations if you continue on this path.. The whole point of having a weather Station is being able to access the information quickly and easily no matter where you are.. This makes it far more difficult with poor graphics tiny graphics that are difficult to read. My next weather station will probably not be from you.
