• AdBlock has enhanced DNS proxy rules export and import function. Share DNS proxy rules with other users, easily import rules found on the Internet.
• AdBlock comes with a Safari Content Blocker to block ads on websites in Safari.
• AdBlock allows you to create your own list of domains and synchronize your rules between all your devices using iCloud.
• AdBlock allows you to protect your privacy by blocking mobile trackers. Prevent Internet trackers from recording your online activity and selling your private data.
• AdBlock does not send your Internet traffic through any remote server. All of your connections stay direct, fast and secure. Ads are blocked right on your device!
• Setting up AdBlock is simple! Just download the app, and follow the tutorial to set everything up. When in doubt - contact our support!
• AdBlock automatically updates to the latest version of the filters on every app run. We keep the ad servers database up-to-date for you.
• AdBlock works with Wi-Fi and cellular networks. You don't need to set it up separately for every network you use.
• AdBlock comes with a handy widget to quickly change the DNS proxy status when needed.

This app worked well but doesn’t seem to be blocking a lot the ads in the same games I play…

This works as intended - for those that don't understand how it works, should look up DNS blocker files or websites to import DNS host-file batches from. I have over 100k websites added, and it works a charm, all locally, and across even in-game ads that fetch from websites too. (Including annoying banner ads). Only ones that it doesn't block would be the type that you can't block via a address/DNS, but that's a given obviously, and no adblocker app can block non-address ads (such as built-in offline ones for a game's other products) anyway. The bad news is I definitely see a heavy battery usage (check Battery in settings) by the app, and it definitely puts strain on the phone by comparison to something such as NextDNS, which has a much lighter hand for battery usage, so far it seems. I would say it cuts about 30-40% of my normal battery usage, which for a regular user like me, is pretty sucky. If this was the only one available, I'd bear with it, but NextDNS's 100k queries a month free plan might work fine for me, and it'll drain less on my phone. Worst case scenario I use this app for the few days the NextDNS runs out. I'm not sure why this makes the battery drain faster by blocking loads - you'd think that would make it drain less battery, by the claims of many other ad-blocker apps I've seen (of which I've passed over - 98% of them are safari extensions and I don't use safari) so I'm not sure why this one chews my battery so much. Interestingly even going from Disabled to Enabled, that loading bit as it turns on the settings, eats about a 5-8% and makes my phone battery heat up as the battery jumps down - no idea why, but it's weird. Then once it's on, the battery usage is accelerated by 1.5x-3x the amount. Long review, but it does exactly what it says for being able to locally block domains via VPN settings (not compatible with VPNs btw! Turning on a VPN disables this, unlike Lockdown, but Lockdown sucks because you have to manually add addresses to block 1 by 1, and has a paywall for their own rather paltry list of to-block domains, which you can find better lists online anyway) You can also import lists from host files and online sites (but can't do so from a local host file or text file on your phone which is weird to me) The downside is the heavy battery usage, and the fact that unlike NextDNS and Lockdown, it locks VPN settings to only be usable with itself. If those two things could be changed or improved upon, that would make this app

Not working.

ICloud synch unfortunately does not work properly

Hello. The app itself is great and very usable if one knows how to use it. But for some reason iCloud synch is not working properly. I tried to export my dns rules thru iCloud to other iphone and ended up with a situation where all my rules i added were gone. Dissapeared. I had some 250 rules and now i have to start from scratch. After synching i had a lot of empty domains that didn’t exist on my original iPhone. iCloud synch will not copy exactly my rulez from original phone to other phone. I have to use export file which is great option. Next time I will not use iCloud synch. But other then that app is great P.S. People who say that app is bad and useless are either not the sharpest tools in the shed or work for a competition. You have to do your part for the app to work. But some apps’ ads can’t be blocked because they use the same server.

Fraud!
