Adblock Fast is a new, faster ad blocker and the first open-source ad blocker for iOS (http://appadvice.com/appnn/2015/09/adblock-fast-is-a-free-and-open-source-way-to-banish-ads-in-ios-9)!
Just as webpages grew bloated with ads, so too have ad blockers grown bloated with little-used filtering rules and features that sap their speed and hog your device’s disk space, CPU cycles, and memory. Adblock Fast runs an optimized ruleset to accelerate pages more but consume less system resources than other ad blockers do.
Adblock Fast blocks ads in Safari not in other apps. To allow Adblock Fast to block in Safari:
1. press the Home button on your iPhone or iPad,
2. tap the “Settings” app,
3. tap “Safari” > (under “ General”) “Content Blockers”, then
4. toggle the “Adblock Fast” switch on.
To unblock ads, navigate to the “Adblock Fast” app.
To see the effect of Adblock Fast on a particular page, you may have to clear Safari’s cache (tap “Settings” > “Safari” > “Clear History and Website Data”) before reloading the page.

No longer blocking YouTube ads
Used to be great but no longer blocks YouTube ads. Even worst is that you can no longer skip ad if blocker is active. What’s the point? Deleting this app and finding a new one.
Blocks no ads at all. It’s full on crap.
THE WORST!! Absolute worst!! Total BS! I don’t want to give even 1 Star. But I have to in order to submit. Does not deserve a fraction of a star.
Great ad blocker
Use it as my daily adblocker on iPad and iPhone. Does a super job, lightweight and simple.
Amazing app
Amazing app I suggest that you get this app it blocks all those stupid surveys and much more 100% recommend it.!!
Blocks google shopping links
When clicking items in google Shopping results, the plugin blocks them.
Needs a lot of work
The app shuts down videos and comments on all websites and apps.
Great adblocker
Really like this one. The developer recently updated it which is nice because a lot of ad blocking apps have fallen by the wayside and not gotten updated. It does a good job. Not overly aggressive but a handful of ads slip through. A good balance. Sometimes leaves empty white space too but all in all a good one. I've found myself using it more than the one I paid for actually.
Way faster Safari
Really happy with the app! I was waiting for a Update for a long time, and it feels faster now
No longer works
This used to be awesome. Now it lets a lot through. I don't know if it needs to be updated or has sold out. Either way, look elsewhere.
