Addictive Accounting

Adult student doing a career change to bookkeeping and this app helped me so much. I was reluctant at first and figured it might be like the other free basic bookkeeping lessons online that I’ve signed up and given up on. Explanations are detailed and simple especially the difference between Debit and Credit as I had a very difficult time learning the difference even if I Google the terms or see examples. I finally got it!! The practice tests are very helpful. This app is highly recommended!!

I'll start by saying that I've never purchased an app regarding accounting that makes perfect sense to me. Come to think of it, this may be my first review for anything I've purchased on the Apple Store and I've purchased many apps. A common problem I've noticed with 'how to' or 'self help' programs is that although they may provide useful information, they don't create an easy-to-follow system that you can apply after the reading, workbook and practice test. Instead, you end up with a ton of great information but have a hard time figuring out when and how to implement it into your everyday life and be successful with it. Addictive Accounting gets to the point. The creator did a great favour by creating the app in such a captivating way. This worked greatly for me as I sometimes find myself getting board during a program but this was not the case with Addictive Accounting. I have a shelf full of books that I have purchased trying to understand accounting with little success. By remaining interested throughout the program, I was able to digest the content without interruption and let me tell you, there was a ton of content to take in. If you're considering purchasing this app, here's what I'll leave you with. If you're not ready to put in the work and are just looking to become an accounting expert, there is no book or program that teaches you that -follow through is a prerequisite. If you're looking for an accounting program that won’t require you taking a college degree, this program is it! I can finally sit down with my bank, bookkeeper, accountant and completely understand the terms and conversation. In fact, I do all my bookkeeping and can now read the reports!!! I believe this program is a great investment. It’s so good that I went ahead and purchased it for my three children. Thanks Addictive Accounting

I’m a full-time professional going back to college for my 2nd degree… My 1st degree shall not be named but let’s just say it’s “worthless”. I decided to pursue something more material and relevant to my current career trajectory and settled on Accounting. My online classes begin in a week and I wanted to prime my brain for learning again. After sifting through a few basic guides and sites, I found Addictive Accounting. This app is immenseley helpful. All the concepts and information are delivered so easily and simplistically. Nothing was overcomplicated. I struggled in a few areas (especially when it came to AP/AR), but found that re-reading, slowly absorbing, and going through the modules again and again solidfied my knowledge. I did take notes down while using this app because I find it easier to retain info after writing. Seriously though, thank you for creating this app. I haven’t purchased the 2nd part yet as I don’t want to get too ahead of myself… Rest assured, I will be unlocking the full content once I’ve dipped my toes in college once more. Again, thank you!

I’m preparing to study Accounting and wanted to jump ahead with a general review. This app is well written and I love the self checks available with quizzes. I found it very addictive.

I’m am going back into the accounting field and wanted a refresh, just so I don’t stumble on interview questions. I find accounting makes logical sense in action, but describing it verbally can get tricky. This helps!
