Imagine being able to pick up a packet of food, then easily, and quickly, scan the ingredients to detect additives (good or bad!). That is exactly what this app is designed to do!

The Additive-Free Lifestyle app will take the guesswork out of ‘what to buy’. In a few seconds you’ll be able to make informed decisions using scientific information regarding every additive approved for use within Australia and New Zealand.

Each additive is marked with a ‘quick view’ happy green face, cautioned yellow face or red risky face, however, if you would like to read a full description of each additive this is available too.

On top of the additive scanner and extensive additive list, this app also consists of over 300 family-friendly recipes that are quick, easy, budget-friendly, and delicious.

You can either cook straight from the recipe or with the touch of a button add it to a meal plan. Once you have the meal plan set it will automatically generate a shopping list, saving you even more time!

Fantastic app!

I am a long time follower of additive free lifestyle and have been considering purchasing this app for awhile now. I finally bit the bullet and absolutely love it! Love this app!!!

I am new to understanding additives and the effects on our lives and wellbeing. I have 2 sons with ADHD and I am keen to remove additives to try and help them manage some of their behaviours as well as become healthier as a family. This app is great for checking ingredients lists whilst in the supermarket, just a quick scan gives you an accurate list of additives and their potential effects. The recipes are great and the meal planner is a useful tool. The meal planner even provides shopping list once meals are selected. Boy do we need this education, so handy to have it in one app!!!

Life saver for anyone short on time!

This app has just saved me a tonne of time planning our dinners for the week, there are soooo many recipes to pick from and this will definitely be shaking up our same old same old dinner routine… and the ingredients used aren’t weird or expensive, thank you!!! The additive information is so fantastic, the layout is so clean and easy to navigate…. Thank you soooo much!!

Amazing! Empowering kids and adults of the future

Recently my 8yr old has been diagnosed with autism. To support her I have decided to also work with her diet and empower her with the knowledge of what she is eating. Yesterday we sat down and went through the app and scanned all her food that she has been eating recently. It was so empowering and she really relates to the red, yellow and green faces as she also uses this talk with her zones of regulation. Thank you so much for creating an app to help empower our kids. She now has the knowledge of how to support herself best. Thank you

Brilliant app

This app is fantastic. The scanner is fast which is super important when grocery shopping. The recipes are easy to read and I love there are so many meals for families my kids love. Being additive and preservative free is so important in todays world and having all of this info at my fingertips makes it all easier. I love that my whole family can use the app also- genius idea.
