AdGuard Pro — adblock

A really great app but there's a lot to it and it can be confusing. The ad-block options in the app are: - Safari content blocker - Virtual VPN (I think, or a DNS?) - Safari extension There's not much guidance on how best to set things up. I have the Safari extension enabled along with the custom group for the content blocker, and those seems to do a great job together.

I can’t remember the last time I saw an ad. This app even blocks in-app ads and video ads. It makes apps like mobile games and dating apps finally usable again.

Probably the most used app on my iOS devices. Gets rid of mists of the junk.

Actually five stars but I would really like the developers to read this review - I love the app but recently in the last few weeks I’ve been finding that DNS filtering to any alternative DNS server doesn’t work over mobile data- and I believe it’s because in the VPN connection loop back is connecting with an IP v6 address whereas on Wi-Fi it does work and it’s seems to be connecting with an IP 4 address, please could you add this to a list of bug reports? I don’t know if other people are experiencing the same problem. I’ve had to turn off filtering over mobile data.

Hello there, I thought the Adguard Pro purchase of 10£ will be for an extra service or feature however I have been charged already for a premium account 12£, and I would like a refund for the purchase of the app please. Thanks

When it works it's great. But sometimes doesn't load appsnornwebsotes well and needs disabling. Hopefully will get better over time.

I have been using this for years and it’s been great in Safari. I have also just started using the DNS service to get rid of the apps in Apple News. This works great too.

This in a update; a superb product and does what it is meant to do. However, a warning must be added to avoid enabling duplicate filters, as manual update may generate an error in IOS 17.

The best app ever created. Amazing ad block, works on pretty much every app to safari to blocking trackers and advertisement trackers. Absolutely amazing. Cannot recommend enough. I often disable the adblock and use my phone as normal just to remind myself how well this app works, and how much adverts are out there. If theres ever one app you should purchase, its this one - Adguard pro
