Stunningly bad!
All the issues written about in the other 1 star reviews are there for me. The book I purchased is unreadable (unless I want to be content with not being able to read numerous pages in the book). I note there are reviews going back a couple of years discussing this problem. It is puzzling to me that a well established and well regarded developer such as Adobe a) can’t get their app to work after all that time and b) are happy to leave it out there in the market ripping people off .
The worlds most irrelevant company
A company that has zero prospects stays alive by tricking businesses into using their utterly poor platform. Had to use a Mac to open the link to download the file so I could access it on a iPad.
RIP adobe your time has come. You will be the next Nokia.
Doesn’t function as a reading software at all
BAD USER INTERFACE!
Terrible app
I spent hundreds of dollars on an etextbook through the publisher’s website, not knowing this would be the app it used. Not only is this app not available on MacBooks, making it hard to study with, 80% of the pages will not load. Even if I am on full wifi or mobile data, I am lucky if even half of a page is legible. I have never been ripped off more in my life. Stay away from this app.
Don’t waste your time
Worst app I’ve ever downloaded. It’s so badly integrated and has problems with pagination. It’s also slow to load.
Botched text - Apply dark mode.
I’ve read a lot of the reviews and a common recurring problem appears to be the botched text from the downloaded books. A solution I’ve found is to apply the dark mode. The incomplete text becomes complete and perfectly fine.
However I am using this app on an iOS mobile device and have downloaded the content from a uni provided source so issues with download don’t appear to be a problem so far.
Discretion- this solution might not work for everyone.
Hope this helps. (App is still wack tho).
Problem: botched text.
Solution: apply dark mode.
Useless as a standalone app
Unintuitive and requires a computer to add drm’d books. Typical of Adobe trash.
Absolutely terrible app.
Forced to use this app due to library DRM for the loan. Books virtually unreadable. I cannot understand how an app could be so bad or why libraries persist in forcing users to use it. Believe the one star reviews. This app is a disgrace.
Does not work!
All this does is download the user manual to the iPad. No software…
Non-functional
Pages are literally empty, or a garbled, scrambled, pixel-puke of partial text on the occasional page if lucky.
