For being an adobe app this thing is terrible.  I needed an app to read an adobe DRM book so this was the obvious choice.  However I cannot believe that this app  has remained non functional for over four years and hasn’t had an update in the same amount of time.  The page turning function doesn’t work properly and the app crashes randomly during reading and ebook uploading. Shame on you adobe for putting out such junk!

I paid $70 for an eBook. I am forced to use this software to read it. If you’re gonna use DRM, the app that you need to use the book better be good. Well, this is not that app. Congratulations! There is no other choice. If the aim is to make people hate DRM and want to break it, this app excels splendidly.

Fortunately both the PDF and epub versions of my book are readable, but the PDF viewer is glitchy and I have to re-zoom any time I turn the page.

The typesetting for the epub is awful, with full justification with no hyphenation, so the text block is hideous with big spaces between the words.

I can’t make the text as small as I’d like and the margins are wider than they need to be, even at the maximum setting for text width.

Please, Adobe, fix this app. This should be the best reader possible if there are no other choices.

In the meantime, I’m ordering a paper copy of the book and I will be able to use it as I please.

The worst application I have ever come across.  A disgrace to Adobe.  Totally unresponsive, with all titles inaccessible.  Yet many electronic vendors require their e-titles directed only there.  A disaster for the student and researcher.  Download at your peril.

Downloaded this to try and transfer some drm books I bought to my iBook the instruction manual adobe loaded on the app doesn’t even load right.. every other page is blank or half loaded/has massive formatting issues which make it unreadable.  Table of contents doesn’t work. Only way to get the viewable page is to guess and punch in a page number

I tried downloading a book to read for school, and the full text didn’t show up except for a couple of pages. I said it had been downloaded onto the app, but there was no way I would have been able to read anything because the text didn’t even load enough for me to read it. Don’t know why they’ve brought out a product when it clearly isn’t ready for consumer use.

If you’re using an iPad, do yourself a favor and find another way to access the content you need. I’d give this 0 stars if I could. The app is not capable of opening the textbooks I need for my courses. 90% of the textbook pages are partially blank. It’s some malfunction and it makes the pages unreadable. 

It works fine on a mac computer. If you really need to use this app, use it on the computer.

Just a quick example of how awful this tool is  - the 16 page ‘getting started’ guide has predominantly blank pages. Library textbooks will not load in this app. It’s a phenomenal waste of time. Don’t download it and talk to your library about finding an alternative.
