I recently purchased the newest 13 inch iPad Pro. I have been using Lightroom for years with my Samsung phone with no issue. Everybody told me to get an iPad for editing as it is the ‘superior product’. Guess what the app does not work. The masking will not download. I deleted the app and tried the Lightroom that is not for iPad. I can’t even log into the app on that one. I am really frustrated and disappointed. I tried to report a problem, that doesn’t work either.
to be honest, this new experiment feature is not perfect, but it blows my mind to work on ipad and even my iphone! keep it coming adobe💜❤️🧡💛
Needs a guest mode. Impossible to use without signing in. Deleting since it’s useless.
Why is rule of thirds the only crop overlay option? I’m cropping in a different app and then opening in Lightroom to edit. Otherwise I don’t feel like anything is missing.
The generative feature doesn’t work at all. Says “sorry something didn’t work, try again”. Doesn’t matter what I select. People, cars, signs, walls, nothing works. Really poor showing at launch for a feature to be bricked
May 22nd This is the nth time my edits have been lost and software asking me to wait to get all components from cloud. Searching forums for answer got me no where. I can’t even dare to pause working since if I close the work I may lose everything. I am not using even the new and crappy AI blur. Btw after updating to latest version there is no error message but all my edits are gone,the preview thumbnail is correct. So much of my work my time is wasted. Fix problem s then work on AI bells and whistles. Jan 2024 Used to be one of my favorite apps, recently it keeps crashing without saving most recents edits, wasted so much of my time to redo the edits, plus it is considerably slower than before. Fix this. Revert back to old versions.
Can’t see myself using another tool anytime soon. It’s great. Keep improving Adobe!

I’m a professional photographer. This app is awful. Lightroom Classic (a desktop program) is extremely valuable for organization and batch editing. This app makes me want to scream. It never syncs right, it always has errors, it won’t let me make edits unless I erase all previous edits and start over from the import…I hate it so much. It’s been like this for over a year. Adobe keeps adding features that no professional would ever want, and they must just not care about their professional base. Even if you’re an amateur, how do you not get incredibly frustrated by this app?! I gave it two stars because it doesn’t crash. It doesn’t do much, but at least it doesn’t crash. One star is for apps that can’t even stay open.
After all these years, Adobe STILL cannot make a pro version of LR for iPad. Black Magic knows how… Adobe, paying attention? Your so focused on storing our personal information (form a recent webcast I saw by Adobe)… how about focusing on your core tools. This app takes SO long to do things with all the tapping and clicking everywhere. Keyboard shortcuts don’t line up with the desktop version. There’s two LR listed in the store that no one can differentiate between. It’s a mess. Such powerful iPads now and we’re still creating legacy apps. Such a shame.
