Have been using the app for two months and there are functions that do not work unless you phone up technical

It works but can be hit and miss on update and showing sensors open or successfully bypassing them. Frustrating that I can’t add users like I could with Verisure’s - theirs allowed me to add keyholder for app access but restrict when they could use it or lock them out of annex / second alarm zones. This app only has one account - my primary so offering to others means they get full access to my account and ability to change settings. The UX is clunky for bypassing and arming.

Can I put 0 stars. Struggle to do even basic things on the app. The app freezes all the time, customer service is completely disconnected from the different departments to resolve issues. I pay about 350 gbp a month in charges for ADT and frankly the level of service and quality of the technology is shocking. I also paid about 1500 gbp for the technology upfront. Honestly a cheaper system like ring or others is better. Horrendous. Never buy an ADT system. Cannot wait for the contract to end.

You cannot navigate anything you want easily. Some things I have to do in the browser but the browser version never accepts my login details so now I have a lamp rule that the engineer set that I cannot change because there is no where to change that in the app or if there is, it’s impossible to find. The app is clunky and nothing is where you would expect to find it.

I can’t see how to change certain settings. Very frustrating. This could be much more user-friendly.

Long story short we were initially mis-sold what the security was capable of. (We were told facial recognition to auto turn off alarms etc) nothing of the sought it’s all done manually! The app shows The door bell camera which has NEVER WORKED and a ring door bell we had prior to this was incredibly good! But this door bell came with the package and was installed same time and cameras. App shows Constant issues with connections on all cameras all the time and we’ve been paying for a system that is very very poor! I keep getting told from ADT and ADT engineers that apparently the signal comes from America so takes a while to reach!!! Well it doesn’t reach at all! I do not recommend ADT at all. Just robbing our money so we can try and keep what little security this system offers us and needs to keep active payments for memory in case anything happens and MIGHT record it!!! Honestly really regretful purchase. Had system nearly 4yrs now. Been trying to look for other ways but I’m not knowledgeable enough to know how to use cameras we have to change on to a different system!

App is good overall, however the video doorbell settings never save. It always reverts back to maximum despite being lowered and saved to standard.

This limitation may be a downside for users who require more flexibility in managing their home security. Another aspect that I found slightly bothersome was the push notifications. While they aim to keep you informed about activities around your house, I found them to be overwhelming. As a result, I had to turn off the notifications altogether. On a positive note, the weather forecast feature on the app is quite handy and adds a nice touch to the overall user experience. In conclusion, the ADT App is a solid choice for managing your home security needs. Its user-friendly interface and helpful features make it a convenient tool. However, there is room for improvement, especially in terms of scheduling options and notification management. I hope that ADT will consider these suggestions for future updates to further enhance the app's functionality.

Very easy to use

New Customer and already having issues with this app. I was able to walk to my door and open my door without my cameras sounding or the house alarm sounding neither. I find this worrying to say the very least. The app constantly crashes and does not give me real time updates. I also had a spider crawling near my camera the other night and it woken me up at 4.30am! Reviews on this site are not being dealt with clearly.
