Place a full-size ADU in your backyard before you build. No more guessing from 2D plans. Experience the space as if it’s already built. ADU Viewer lets you visualize small homes in life-size augmented reality (AR), so you can confidently decide what fits your space — without spending money on construction. Whether you’re a homeowner exploring options or a builder presenting to clients, ADU Viewer turns imagination into (augmented) reality. VISUALIZE Before You BUILD • Place a true-scale ADU in your backyard using your phone • Walk around it from every angle • Step inside and look out the windows • View the ADU from inside your main home • See interior layout — kitchen, bathroom, room placement • Understand California’s required 4-foot setback (shown in green) • Capture photos of the future ADU placed in your real backyard to share and compare 60+ REAL ADU DESIGNS Browse and preview over 60 house designs in different sizes and layouts to find what fits your lot best. Models are full-scale virtual copies of ADUs built in real life in California. Please allow time and a stable internet connection to download your selected design before placement. A POWERFUL TOOL FOR BUILDERS • Impress clients and close faster • Replace blueprints with immersive, on-site AR walkthroughs • Compare multiple designs live during consultations • Reduce hesitation by showing exact scale and placement • Align expectations before permitting and construction • Stand out with cutting-edge visualization technology When clients can walk through their future ADU, decisions happen faster. ADUs Go BY MANY NAMES Accessory Dwelling Units are also known as backyard homes, granny flats, granny pods, secondary dwellings, carriage houses, and more — but seeing one in your yard makes all the difference.
