## Aequorea Description
aequorea is an open space to discover art with context free from algorithms, follower counts, and like buttons.

Whether it’s a classic painting, an independent film, a piece of music, a poem, or a modern digital work, everything here exists with its background and meaning intact.

DISCOVER ACROSS ERAS AND MEDIUMS
Explore art across all forms, from historic classics to fresh contemporary works:
• Painting & Visual Art
• Cinema & Short Films
• Music & Sound Pieces
• Literature, Poetry & Essays

Across the mobile app and the Steam virtual museum, discovery isn’t controlled by an engine trying to keep you hooked. You can wander freely, find works you never knew existed, and experience them alongside their real background.

SHARE YOUR OWN WORK
aequorea is also a place to publish your own creations.
Upload your paintings, your films, your music, or your writing. Share what you made and write down why you made it without worrying about pleasing a feed, chasing trends, or tracking view counts.

WHY IT’S DIFFERENT
• Context First: Discover what inspired a piece, the history behind it, or what the creator was going through when making it.
• No Popularity Contests: No likes, follower counters, or viral ranking boards. Your work and the classics sit side-by-side on equal ground.
• Connected to Steam: Experience and discover art seamlessly, whether you’re exploring on your phone or stepping through the museum on PC.

A place for curious people and creators who care about art, not numbers.
