Denne var ok i alle år helt til nå. Den er proppa med reklane. I got the pro-version as well but it is far from as user-friendly as this light version. In other words: I vould be happy to pay for the lught version.
Small and remote places like ENBJ, ENHO, ENAS and ENSA are included in the app (it finds the stations) but there is never any weather information on them even though other websites like ippc.no has regular weather updates on the mentioned stations. Same goes for the pro-version. Except from that, nice and usable app for flightcrews!
Certain stations stilll show up bright, not dimmed. Not sure what the reasoning is. Hopefully fixed in a future update.
Great app but the metar/TAF widget on iPhone’s opening screen is often not loading.
The red triangle depicting the wind direction is opposite from what pilots traditionally have seen : the narrow pointy end should face the direction from which the wind is blowing , ie pointy end down if the wind is from 180 degrees. This convention does back to the days when airports had a large, rotatable triangle that was in the middle of the airport and pointed into the wind. Pilots flying into fields with no tower could see the direction in which to land. Other weather apps correctly use the wind icon.
