It is not intuitive. It doesn’t have enough filters. It doesn’t allow you to identify preferred providers. This is not a case of not knowing how to use what exists in the app. I used it when we had their coverage several years ago. It makes finding care, providers and facilities unnecessarily difficult. I had hoped it might have been improved over the past few years, but it is still awful. I’ve used several other health care company apps so I’m familiar with apps that are more intuitive and functional. -- HandiNana, 2024-12-24 ### **--- "Convoluted And misleading" I received an authorization for an injection of Orthovisc for my LT knee just to have it denied a few days later. The specialist pharmacy person said that the injection procedure was authorized but not using the Orthovisc brand gel even though it was spelled out in the authorization letter that I received from Aetna. Now, I have to start over and get a different prescription gel approved, meanwhile this will put me into the new year causing my deductible and out of pocket to reset. Sounds like it was planned to me. I kept the original authorization letter which states the medication name and the procedure.
