## AFAR Magazine Reviews in United States

### **--- "Looking for old app"
I had the Afar app on my old phone and I loved it to reference great, off-the-beaten-path spots when I travel. I used it to plan trips and get input from other users. The new app doesn’t even let you search multiple issues?! I’m mad I paid for the subscription. I have to go issue by issue to research my trip 😫
-- Jodyjanda, 2021-01-18

### *---- "Can’t use existing subscription"
No way to log in if you have a print subscription and last app update was over a year ago. This should be removed from the App Store honestly.
-- MusedRainfall, 2019-04-05

### *---- "Horrible Update!"
App update deletes all downloaded issues and then doesn’t allow you to access those issues (even though you’ve already paid for them). It’s so bad that even with a current subscription you can’t access the current issue. Totally insane situation. Unfortunately AFAR customer service is clueless about their own app :-(
-- SteveSUSA, 2017-11-30

### *---- "No digital subscriptions for print subscribers?"
In 2017, it's not acceptable to fail to provide access to a digital version to your print subscribers.
-- 8686ntn, 2017-04-23

### *---- "Can't Read on iPhone 6 Plus"
Love this magazine but it is a waste to buy it for an iPhone. The ZOOM option doesn't exist so unless you want to read the articles with a microscope... it is a complete waste of your 20 bucks.
-- Unreadable NO ZOOM OPTION, 2016-12-27

### *---- "Nothing loaded"
I really hate this.
I do not know, this is my iPad's (version 4) problem or this application.
-- NikaShelby66, 2016-12-07

### *---- "Love the magazine; hate the app"
I paid for an issue although the app promised I'd get a free one; neither one has ever loaded. A great let-down from an otherwise good publication.
-- Fibermaven, 2016-07-03

### *---- "Subscription?"
The only magazine that I bought twice and I still do not have access, despite restoring purchases, reinstalling and praying to the gods of iTunes subscriptions and IP protection. Well, I suppose I have to give up trying.
-- Ralfi08, 2016-06-05

### *---- "No way to login"
I already have a print subscription to AFAR but I cannot get to the digital versions. Really? In this day and age? Fix this!
-- cloudcover, 2016-04-19

### **--- "Why have you removed zoom?"
Love the content of this magazine, but in the latest issue I am no longer able to zoom in on the pages, which for practical purposes makes it impossible for me to read the content on my iPhone.
